Can’t believe this was the hospital that President JFK was seen at before his death, so sad. But as for the Hospital today it is by far the best treatment center in the Dallas/DFW area. I visited here after being seen across the street at the University of Texas Southwestern Neurosurgery and all I can say is Sow & Thank you. From the Valet Service which is a must, due to parking conditions. The receptionist at the front door & all the attendees and technicians were super friendly, helpful and compassionate about my needs. There are numerous emergency rooms and hospitals within the DFW area but if you want top notch care and can make it here, this is where you need to be.
The MFM Clinic is amateur hour! Ive come 10-15 min early for my first 3 appointments here .. They call your name upon arrival and have you waiting 3-4 hours to be seen ,utterly ridiculous! The nurses sit around chatting disposing of other’s business. Restrooms are filthy. The only good thing about this place is the Starbucks .. I’m definitely finding another Clinic ASAP
My mom was admitted 9 days. Their service was excellent, doctor, nurse every employee are very nice there. I recommend 10 out of 10.

This hospital was great and award winning when it was white. Now the staff reminds me of the Washington DC mayor who got busted smoking crack and the patients look like they came from the red light district up the street. Pretty much exactly what happened to the west part of Plano.
I have nothing but nice things to say for this hospital ..I’ve came here for my ACL surgery and my gallbladder & tonsil removal surgery and I was treated with the upmost respect the compassion these doctors and nurses have is truly remarkable!
After having a c section here in this hospital, I had to come back because the wound open up. They see me in pain they made me sit in the waiting room for hours and never got seen. Please for real don't come to this hospital go some place else where the doctors really care about people. This hospital only cares about billing you with over $5000 dollars for nothing. This the same thing in the children hospital they will take up to 12 hours to see a baby..
If you’re worried about your child don’t bother going to this hospital at all and I’m not even being rude, I’m not all about reviews but I see why they are a 3 start hospital I don’t even give them that I give them 1-2 stars at most. They sit at their desk and do nothing literally, hang up phone calls all day long and refuse to let you know if paperwork has been transferred, I am not exaggerating when I say it takes almost 30 days and calling the hospital at minimum 40-50 times and talking to 4 different people on private phone numbers to find out a simple “yes your paper work is here” and STILL don’t have an appointment. I can’t go to my normal obgyn now and have missed my appt because it’s took over a month for paperwork that “still isn’t there” and no word on anything in the near future. Iv seen cash cow work places before but this has to be the top tier, I’m terrified for my child to be born here now.
I had to seek emergency services in this hospital today, unfortunately. Some of the staff is so rude, and I ended up leaving because I was in the waiting room for 2 hrs. They have horrible service! It made me greatly appreciate the kind and caring healthcare workers in my city. I will never return to this place again!
Parkland made me wait in a chair in one of the hallways in their ER department, in severe pain, for 8+ hours. I was struggling with chest pain, shortness of breath, and nausea. No steps were taken to help me with the pain. I was put through over $5000 of tests, two of which they fouled up. In the end, they horribly mis-diagnosed my condition. After spending over 10 hours in the ER, I was dismissed with little or no feedback as to my condition other than "everything looks fine." A week later, I ended up at another hospital ER. They used the Parkland tests from the week prior and their own and immediately spotted a blockage. I was treated and released by the other hospital within 3 days and am now feeling fine. In severe pain? Want a correct diagnosis?Parkland is not the place to go for proper treatment. The staff are too busy to be thorough and care about your pain level unless you arrive via ambulance and are screaming, moaning, and making a scene. I won't risk my health by going back to this hospital and will be challenging my huge hospital bill due to the poor medical I was given. Please go elsewhere for good care.
