I have been having an issue with my hand but I kept putting it off because every time I was going to make an appointment with a dermatologist it would to seem to get better. I finally made my appointment and I got to see a Nurse Practitioner quicker than I thought was going to happen. I went to the office as a new patient with my filled out paperwork in hand. Nothing makes me happier than going to a new office, being taken care of, and out within 30 minutes. I did not have life-threatening issues. The staff was extremely friendly from the front as well as in the back. I enjoyed hearing them laugh and I smiled at the fact that they were all probably having a great day. The best part is that the Nurse Practitioner was knowledgeable enough to give me a cream for my hand and two weeks within seeing her, it is almost back to normal.
Tracy is phenomenal. Her bedside manner, knowledge, care, experience, personality are all sensational. I was quickly in and out of my appointment. This was appointment for cosmetic procedure Botox. Tracy addressed all of my concerns, problem areas, and goals. She took the time to thoroughly explain what she was doing. I highly recommend this office and provider for anyone in search of Dermatology care.
Would highly recommend Parks Dermatology Center. I started off my visit with a very friendly front desk staff. My appointment was scheduled with Tracy, a dermatology Nurse Practitioner. I was seeing her for keratosis pilaris. I knew I had this skin diagnosis and wanted to further evaluate on it. Tracy went above and beyond explaining the treatment plan with recommendations on over the counter and prescription treatment options. As a medical professional myself I was very impressed by her didactic ability to diagnose and distinguish between different types of dermatological conditions. I will definitely be back for a follow up with her in the future and I highly recommend her if you have anxiety speaking with providers as she is kind and soothing as well as educational and experienced.
Tracy Shibla is by far the best doctor I've ever seen. She actually listens to you, and her colleagues. They also gave me samples and coupons . Wait times are small! Got in at 1, got called back at 1:04. And I was out of there in 25 minutes! So if you have somewhere you need to be, like work or school. I promise you'll get out of there with plenty of time!
BEWARE!!! “THEY DO NOT DO SCREENING EXAMS” our insurance covers a screening exam once a year so I called to schedule an appointment for a screening exam which I made very clear. They scheduled us with Tracy the NP. A few weeks later we receive a bill for 150 dollars! When we called to ask why they said they don’t do screening exams!! Then why would you schedule us for a screening exam?!?! Also Tracy didn’t even look at my backside barely checked my scalp and was in and out in less than 2 minutes. Do not go here.
Dr K is the best doctor I've ever seen. Having leukemia I was susceptible to many infections skin infections Dr K was the best at diagnosing and treating my conditions. I saw him previously at another practice and when I found him again I was elated. Staff was wonderful absolutely no complaints
I would avoid this practice. The PA and her assistant were uninterested, rushed and unfriendly. The PA was condescending. She took a biopsy. No call with results. I had to call for them a month later. Two staff members were dancing in the hallway. This practice lacks professionalism and customer service.
Wonderful office. I was taken in at my appointment time. I printed off the patient information packet at home and filled it out along with my med list and past medical history at home which saves time filling it out in the office. I was put in the exam room and immediately was joined by the nurse. A competent PA removed 4 moles and in 5 minutes I was out the door. I will be a return patient after this. I can't say enough good regarding Parks Dermatology!
I have started going here and have been twice. I am surprised that people give low ratings. I have been impressed with how friendly the staff is and the level of professionalism. I have a few spots that have been worrying me as I am an older guy who has been surfing and diving for 50 years. They are quick to test areas.of concern and today got me in for the afternoon when I called this morning. I was pleasantly surprised about that. Great service!
Not a very good experience at all. The doctor and nurse talked to each other the whole time like I was not even there. For example, doctor said he couldn't remember when the last time he had a beer. lol. I had two different surgeries on my face on different days. Both required multiple extractions using the Mohs surgery. I was charged for a skin graft both times. Well, I don't believe they did that. Because one, I don't think my eyebrows would be so uneven and my lip funny shaped. Also I went back after the last surgery stitches were removed. Doctor K made feel like I was bothering him. He asked what the problem was. I told him the incision was gaping open and was that ok. His answer was it was no worse than bumping yourself. See when nurse took out the stitches she was rough. Several days later I kept having trouble with the incision so my husband looked and I still had partial suture in there. We were able to pull out with tweezers. Both of my surgeries I was disappointed when getting the stitches out the that Dr. K never even came in looked at me although he was in the office. I've had lots of surgeries in my lifetime this was a totally bad experience. I would not recommend at all.
