We loved Parksland retreat, thank you Dustin, We will back. The tent was very clean and in very good new shape, the forrest is amazing, they have take care of woods and it is immaculate. They provide a delicious drinking water, and a really nice hot shower, the place is a clothing optional place, non a naturist place, The host is very helpful and ready to answer any question with a big smile. Near by there is a swimming hole, and a loop that you can walk, I loved to walk around. You have to bring whatever you would think need, but if you forget something the host can help you with it or you can go back to the nearest town which is jot far. The perfect spot for couples, if you are planning to go with kids, and your kidos are not use to see people naked you have to know there will be people walking naked around.
Beautiful location! We had an amazing anniversary trip! Owners are so nice and welcoming! Tent was perfect! I will agree with previous reviews that arriving in the daytime is preferable due to the dirt/gravel road, but directions were perfect! Make sure you hike down to the swimming hole and rock wall, it's absolutely beautiful! We can't wait to go back!
The area and setup was BEAUTIFUL it was peacefully and a great escape. We stayed in F3 and the greeter was friendly and the setup was clean bed was comfortable.The only problem we had with this retreat was the nudity…We feel as if the advertisement for the place was not clear until we purchased our place. We are not opposed to body positivity but this place is labeled family friendly and we do not agree because children should not be subject to the nudity it’s just gives off an uneasy feeling. We were quite uncomfortable seeing so many nude people. we did see where clothes were optional but we thought maybe showering, changing that sort of thing not just freely naked all the time.And maybe this is my error nobody is at fault here but on the way to the car my car door was opened and my doors were unlocked like someone could’ve been in my car. I just felt unsafe and uncomfortable as it is such a great escape but just needs rebranded or something because it was so unexpected and unfortunate that we may not ever come back.Thanks for the experience though.
My favorite place to camp. Relaxed atmosphere, very private, fantastic hosts, all surrounded by a lovely natural environment.
Love this place. Great spot to forget about the outside world for a short time.

Parksland retreat was awesome. My husband and I had an amazing time. If you need to get away from the hustle and bustle of day to day life and just relax this place is it. The host is great. Very friendly and professional. I have zero complaints and will most definitely be going back!!
Will say parksland retreat is by far the best place to camp and to have pure serenity. Dustin and Mandy are the most beautiful respectful all around great people. They were so helpful and so nice. Parksland retreat is a beautiful off-grid camping experience that I have ever had. Definitely will be coming back again. Surrounded by nature from the talledega national forest and a beautiful creek and swimming hole to relax in. Thank you so much Dustin and Mandy for the experience. You guys are the best. Much love to the both of you. Pure Shangri-La is how I'd describe it.
I had the most amazing time at Parksland Retreat. My friend organized the trip and I was a guest but I met the owner and he was kind, knowledgeable of the land, and professional. My friends and I will most definitely be returning to this beautiful place!
A wonderful space to connect with nature. Not recommended if you need accessibility for mobility.
