Fireworks were held at the park for the 4th of July. The atmosphere was friendly. The park was clean and manicured. Many police walking around. I enjoyed it.
Nice, clean and active most earlier daytime 6-8am and evenings btw 4-6pm.not too many dog walkers usually. One night there was a dj in the graveyard playing some nice tunes..
The atmosphere was phenomenal. Peaceful, quiet no disturbance.
Fireworks were awesome this year
Veterans Park does seem to be wheelchair-friendly.the bathrooms that were locked during a majority of the pandemic or now unlocked and there is at least one handicap that is available. the floor on the men's handicap stall is almost always wet. There are two Pavilions in the park with picnic tables underneath them, sometimes the picnic tables are arranged to make it difficult to get a wheelchair through. It is obvious that people tend to move around to make table Arrangements when they have a Party in the Park. The park is very clean and very well-groomed. the last time I was there there was a small sign inside of a plastic bag that said horses were not allowed. In three years of going to the park I have never seen anyone attempt to ride a horse in the park.
It was nice visiting to the park. It was clean didn’t see any trash
