The business opened a few minutes early and a very nice sales person assisted me in finding a perfect pair of moccasins. Even more than finding the beautiful moccasins the sincere kindness and help in making my selection made the sale. I felt the price I paid was fair. Even though they were made in Canada and not locally I was still overall pleased.
Been going here for years... If you're into native crafting they have nice stuff. The lady who works there now is much nicer to deal with. Great selection of beads.
This place is a true historical mark in the dells. The museum has some really cool stuff and some handmade items to purchase. The gift shop has really cool things as well . My family and I have been visiting for many years and will continue! Always a great experience
I absolutley love this place. I always buy postcards and mail them to friends in California. My friend's mom in California has so much stuff that we have sent her from here over the years. No trip is complete without coming here.
The Indian Muesum was very neat plus they have a large variety of stuff you can purchase. Staff was very helpful and friendly.
Omg have been coming here since I was kid, so probably 30+ years. I absolutely love and adore this establishment. It is filled with so many cool things, from spear heads to rabbit fur, to moccasins, all kinds of fascinating beautiful artifacts rich in Native American culture. Absolutely highly recommend stopping in if you’re visiting the Dell’s
Our first stop whenever coming up. One of the few remaining gems reflecting the old ambiance and character of the Dells. I first visited back in the 1950s as a kid. Later brought our own kids here and will be bringing our grandkids soon. Priceless place.
The museum side is neat, with lots of authentic items to look at. Definitely worth the visit, especially since it's free. The store side has mostly touristy junk but still worth a look. The whole building is old in a charming way. I noticed they had a section for selling Pendleton blankets but they didn't have any in stock.
Cool store with a lot of history, just be prepared to be watched like a hawk and have a guy constantly say these aren't toys and don't touch them. But it's worth the stop reminded me of the store from zombieland.
Had the best experience at the Indian trading post. Bought many crystals and stones. The women behind the counter was the sweetest and gave my son a heart stone. The prices are very reasonable unlike other stone/gem stores in the area. Must stop! Had so much fun.
