Does not appear to have re-opened after Covid. There is a sun-faded note on the door indicating they will return to regular hours after Covid but it didn’t appear to have been opened recently. Google Maps does give hours when it is supposedly open but I would advise calling before going. Was disappointed because I had heard nice things about this shop.
Mary is a skilled and experienced professional. Do not go here if you do not want advice on what would make you look good. Bought my dress for my son's wedding and it fit me perfectly and I received more compliments then I did on my own wedding day. I would have never picked the dress that Mary chose for me, but she knows her business. Returned to buy a dress for my daughter who was attending an upscale Philadelphia wedding and we received the same professional advice. My daughter looked stunning and the dress was perfect for the occasion.
I purchased a beautiful dress for my nephews wedding. The owner is choosing some gowns for the new season arrivals for me for my daughters wedding. She has many years in the business really knows fabrics, carries quality designers and understands body types. I read the nasty comments about not being open. The owner shared with me her poor health. Perhaps calling before shopping. I did not experience any issues with the business hours. I’d highly recommend the shop!
I bought a dress for my son's wedding a few years ago. The owner made this experience stress-free; from helping me choose my dress, jewelry and shoes. She was patient and the service was outstanding. I plan to go back in January when my other son will be getting married in the spring. Partridge in a Pear Tree is a unique store offering high quality clothing and gowns; highly recommended!
This place is horrible! I have been here twice looking for a mother of the bride dress. The first time they were so rude and nasty to me. The second time I went they weren't open!! The website hours say they open at 11am on a Saturday, the hours on the door state 10am. I was there at all 11:15am, nobody was there, no sign on the door saying they were closed.
Second time I attempted to shop here. First time it was closed, 10:30 on a Friday. Second time 11:00 and again 11:30 on a Wednesday. Not open . Tried to call to check on times 3 different times, 12:30, 11:30, 4:00. Are you still open for business?
