Passionflower Cakes makes beautiful, delicious cakes and did an amazing job for our wedding!!! We did tastings with 4 different bakeries and while the cakes from each bakery were amazing, Passionflower’s cakes really stood out and were competitively priced as well!. We were able to choose three different cakes for each layer and all were delicious. Our wedding cake was beautiful and matched our vision perfectly. We full-heartedly recommend Passionflower Cakes!
Cake tasting was the part of wedding planning my husband and I looked forward to the most--and Paris, the owner of Passionflower Cakes, went above and beyond our expectations at the initial meeting and at the wedding itself. Her cakes are gorgeous but more importantly they are mouthwateringly delicious. There were no leftovers aside from our anniversary layer, which my husband and I finished a couple days after the wedding because we just couldn't wait a year to eat it. We got three smaller cakes in almond, passion fruit, and chocolate... Our guests loved them all!
My husband and I had a wonderful experience with Passionflower Cakes. We found the company through Google and saw all of the perfect reviews. We met with Paris in person and saw models and pictures of some of her beautiful cakes from the past. We had a very small wedding, and our 2-tier cake was a HUGE hit! It was so delicious that our guests couldn't believe the top tier was gluten free. Our cake was delivered to our reception which took much of the stress off of us on our wedding day. I highly recommend Passionflower Cakes! If you use this company, you won't regret it.
Paris created a cake for my in-laws 60th anniversary and it was exactly what we were looking for! I already had a topper, so I needed the cake to complement it. We live in North Carolina, so I relied on Google reviews. So very glad they brought me to Passion Flower Cakes! I phoned Paris and she was a delight to work with! She created a lovely two-tiered cake design and tied it in to the topper by adding a silver sugar band with pearl fondant border at the base and beautiful silver and white sugar blossoms between the two tiers. It was a classic look that my in-laws admired! With Paris’ guidance, we chose a devils food chocolate cake with a raspberry buttercream filling for the top tier, and the bottom tier was a vanilla cake with alternating chocolate buttercream and chocolate truffle ganache filing. The thought was to save the top tier, but we decided to sample both tiers that evening and send home the leftovers. So glad we did ~ the cakes were absolutely delicious!! Thank you, Paris, for your attention to detail and delicious & beautiful creation!
When planning a wedding during Covid, there were certain things we missed out on, but Paris brought the cake tasting to us in a special way with her pick up tasting box. We were able to bring a variety of cakes and frostings home to try with family and plan out the perfect combinations for each tier. I am gluten-free, and was so impressed not just by the quality of her gf cakes but the variety of flavor options! Our cake was beautiful as well as delicious, decorated with our wedding flowers. Thank you, Paris!
Paris was FANTASTIC!! We picked her because of her wide variety of interesting cake flavors ok, tbh I was hooked immediately by the idea of a bourbon brownie cake and frosting/filling options. She was great to work with - very informative and willing to answer questions while we narrowed down our choices. We LOVED our cakes - all 3 flavors! We got the bourbon brownie of course with chocolate raspberry ganache and cream cheese fillings, the carrot cake with cinnamon ginger cream cheese filling, and the red velvet with cream cheese frosting inside and white chocolate frosting on the outside. Each one got rave reviews! My favorite was predictably the chocolate. My husband liked the carrot cake best until he got his hands on the red velvet, and then it was all over. Consensus was that they were some of the best cakes any of us had ever had. Would recommend Paris 100%!!
Our wedding cake was AMAZING. Paris did such a beautiful job with our wedding cake and the groom’s cake. She listened to us and gave some really good input. We had some really fun flavors and when we did the cake tasting, Paris added some flavors like passion fruit that we weren’t expecting and then ended up picking passion fruit as one of our cake flavors. Her cake is seriously the best stuff we’ve ever had. Book her for your wedding!
Our experience with Paris started with a phone consultation and from that moment I felt like we were on the same page about what we wanted for the wedding. Her prices were more than fair, while her ideas and willingness to step outside the box made her so much fun to work with! She made me so excited about the cake before we even really started planning things! The cake tasting was fabulous and Paris was more than eager to answer questions we had. After we picked our flavors, she just had everything under control. When it came to the day of our event, the cake seriously blew me away. It matched our vision perfectly, looked gorgeous, fit our theme, and tasted delicious. Thank you, Paris.
Paris did the most amazing job with our wedding cake. I CAN NOT EVEN BEGIN TO EXPLAIN HOW DELICIOUS THE CAKE WAS!!! we did a semi naked red velvet cake with raspberry buttercream and blackberry preserves. I never hear people talk about wedding cake but so many came up to me to tell me how delicious it was. Paris added dimension by adding gold leaf as well to go with our flower cascade. It was absolutely a gorgeous cake. Paris helped me design what I wanted and took the time to listen to me and get an idea of how I visioned my whole wedding. She was very accommodating with delivery and setting up of the cake. It was just a beautiful, stunning cake. Exactly what We wanted.
I can not recommend Passionflower Cakes enough, and neither could our guests! We received several "best cupcake I have every had" comments, and I couldn't agree more! From taste to decor, Paris's talent is beyond words. From start to finish, she is a joy to work with - you will not be disappointed!
