The City of Longview has refurbished this park. It has a basketball court, a covered picnic area with two tables, and a kids park designated for 5 to 12 year old kids, which is shaded with pines trees. Right by the Cargill walking trail. Great for weekly lunch breaks and weekends picnics.
It is on Cargill long trail. A convenient place to stop during a walk, run, or bicycle ride. Playground: There is a playground for young children. Restrooms: Yes, there is a restroom.
Patterson Park Is a wonderful shady park with a great playground and sheltered picnic table. We are from out of town and stopped by here on our route to have a picnic. It is a wonderful park! Then at noon on Wednesday a siren blasted just a few yards away from the picnic table and ripped our eardrums out...the baby was terrorized and grandma jumped out of her skin! Just don’t be there at noon on Wednesday.
The basketball court has a not, I guess is what you would say. Nice new backboards and paint. The playground equipment is up and the city is making a lot of headway with redoing the trail. Very nice. Now let's hope it stays this way. The walking trail in Longview is going to be beautiful when it is finally complete. Awesome!!
This park is a hidden treasure on the walking path! Located under tall, whispering pines, families can enjoy picnics at the covered picnic table, or a fun frolic on the playground. It's one of my family's favorite spots to take our lunch after a morning of doctor appointments nearby.
Nice park alongside trail. Sign for park looks like graffiti ridden. All the money spent on upgrading, how about cleaning and replacing signs?
I live close, it's right on the walking trail, small playground, basketball court and a picnik table shaded by trees, not super busy. Nice spot to take a break from the trail or chill away from noise.
My walk for the evening walking for a cure for cancer 35 mi walk for November, nice atmosphere it was a nice day.
My photos of Bergfeld Park in Tyler recently got posted here as Patterson Park where they had multiple views. I'm very sorry for the confusion. I've had this issue already Google grabbing my pics in error and other similar issues..such as promoting me to review a place I only drove past.. I've contacted them and also rechecking all my settings.. Patterson Park looks great! Lol I haven't actually been there! Thanks all! Good park and trail, wish the new park was bigger like the original one was. Not much for the kids to do now.
