The service here is fantastic . The staff works really hard to make sure you enjoy your experience. The not so great...I sent my first drink back, lemon drop martini the replacement drink French martini was mediocre. They prepared the appetizers tables side! They were pretty good. I had the seabass entrée.. this helped boost the rating. It was absolutely amazing.
I’ve never been so lacking in etiquette as this. My sea bass was exceptional, and the tacky process of collecting the remaining sauce with bread was a sight. Absolutely wonderful!
A most pleasant experience. The ambience and the staff made a great impression. The meal and service was superb. Thank you for a memorable evening.
My husband and I went for my birthday dinner. They didn't have reservations until 7:45 since I waited until the day before to call. I hesitated since that is later than we usually eat and the hostess told me she would squeeze us in at 6:15! We got there at 6 and were seated immediately. There were many employees attending to us and all were very friendly. Drinks were poured heavy, the Ceasar salad was delicious. I got the Chicken Romano it was also fantastic with just the right amount of spice. My husband thoroughly enjoyed his lobster pasta. They finished off the fabulous experience by bringing a chocolate brownie cheesecake for my birthday! We will be back and are so happy to have a fabulous Italian restaurant without having to drive into the city!!!
Scallops were great. Waiter was among the best that I've ever had. Caesar salad seemed to have an oil based dressing, I wasn't wild about it. Waiter reccomended after dinner drinks, Squirrel, then told us that they didn't have the ingredients. We then asked for White Russian. We instead recd vodka and cream. Sent it back waiter then went to a store to purchase Kaluha. Just seemed odd
The food was impeccably stacked with flavor!! Groupon knocked off 30 bucks, which added to our amazing dining exp. Lighting was low, conversation around us was tolerable. Servers bring food out to complete cooking entrees tableside. We will be back. Thank you for the exceptional service.
Fantastic local Italian joint. Great atmosphere for intimate dinners, or business meetings. We had about 4 tables of guests. The service was great for the amount of people, and the food tasted wonderful. It's a bit on the expensive side, but it's worth it. Parking and access are easy, and I'll definitely visit again.

My husband and I loved the food and our waitress was very attentive to us. We will differently return.
I inquired about using a John Mineo's gift card before making reservations. They told me that do not honor their own gift cards no change in ownership because they switched gift card vendors. So if you own a gift card that you did not yet use - too bad you are out the cash. BTW I checked the terms on the back of the gift card, no expiration and nothing about not being able to use it if they change their minds.... Bad business practice.
