Thank you for what you do. Y'all are truly unsung heroes. I appreciate your understanding, your empathy. As a Combat Medic, I have zipped up a lot of body bags. Not one that close to myself and my wife. Thank you for your flexibility and kindness. You can always tell people that an ARMY Ranger cried in front of you. I appreciate what you do. Chris.
Our beloved furbaby Miles passed away on 4/18/22 at night and trying to find a place to take him for cremation was overwhelming. We came across Paws in Heaven and sent a text that night, without hesitation we received a response with the nexts steps. We dropped Miles off the next morning for his cremation service and although it was a very emotional and heartbreaking situation, we are very pleased with the overall experience! We loved our purchases and especially the kindness from staff! Thank you!!!!
We had a Shih Tzu for almost 14 years and he was the light of our life. We shared so many incredible memories with him, so saying goodbye was very difficult as it is for anyone who has lost their beloved fur baby but Parker with Paws of Heaven was so patient and incredible during our grieving process. We were able to come back for a private viewing, and during that time get paw prints, nose print along with fur which we didn’t think to do while we were devastated after he had passed away in our arms at home. This opportunity gave us the chance to really say goodbye and help us on our journey of healing. Thank you Parker with Paws. We will recommend you to everyone.
Paws in Heaven was the only place that would cremate our two Shih Tzu’s Bella & Pyper together for one cost. We called all over and everyone else wanted to charge separately for each dog and cremate them separately. They were litter mates, they came into this world together and went out together
If I could give Matt and his team 10 stars I would. I am a single lady, and my 13 year old golden retriever was my whole family when I had to say goodbye to him at the tender age of 13. I had the grace of knowing in advance that I would be saying goodbye to Sammy at home, with the help of home euthanasia. As the day came closer to say goodbye, Matt worked with me answering questions about his products, my order and even managed to "read my mind" when I THOUGHT I had sent him my order, but hadn't yet. He was patient as I navigated my grief, and was helpful despite my scattered brain. The day of, Matt came with his wife, and so gently took my Samson for his final car ride, wrapped in a soft blanket. He was considerate and gentle on a day when I couldn't have needed it more. Fast forward to picking up my paw print, lock of hair and cremains. The office staff was so friendly and the beautiful package of items was put together with love, and a lot of personalization. I consider what Matt gave to me to be some of my most prized possessions, and they couldn't have been handled better or with more kindness. Paws in Heaven offered kindness, professionalism, patience and a beautiful service. I recommend them highly, and know that if you are considering their service, your journey down a hard path with be a little bit easier with their help along the way. Thank you Matt, Matt's wife and Katie! I'll never forget your kindness.
I lost my Baby Luna after 17 years of us being together, I couldn’t even think of how I was going to deal with this situation, it was so hard for me, but paws-in-heaven made everything so easy for me to make the right choice for my baby, and even though I wish I didn’t have to use their services, I know baby was well taken care of during her last journey to heaven by everyone at paws-in-heaven! Thank you from Baby and my family
We really appreciated the owner's response to our concerns. We greatly miss our Sir Rat Rat.
***PLEASE READ THE UPDATE AS OF 3/2/22*** I hope a lot of people will read this. My little Lola Lu passed away, took her last breaths in front of me as I calmly told her to go and be free and that mommy loved her so very very much, but inside I was trembling and screaming as I watched my baby girl, my only child of thirteen years die. I listened as her heart stopped beating, I sobbed the biggest tears onto her sweet little head as I cried out loud and held on to her little limp body, it was very traumatic but I’m glad my face and voice was the last she saw and heard, I couldn’t let go of her, the pain I’m experiencing is horrible and intense, she was all I had, literally all I had, she saved my life through dark depression, she gave me purpose, she went everywhere with me. Now that I’ve painted a picture of just how extremely important my baby girl has always been I want to tell you how much I appreciate Matt and the staff at Paws in Heaven. The day she died we contacted Paws in Heaven to let them know she had suddenly passed away and that we needed to drop her off as soon as we could, they were compassionate and kind and waited for us to bring our sweet baby girl. Dropping her off was extremely hard for me, I couldn’t stand leaving her alone, but Amy was very kind and allowed me to sit with her while we made the cremation arrangements, we have chosen for an “individual” cremation so that it would be just my little girls ashes, we also chose paw prints for our memorial of little Lola Lu. As I’ve been grieving I’ve been a nervous wreck, let me tell you how wonderful, informative and very professional with a very kind touch Matt and his staff have been. I feel confident that my girl is in the right hands! I’ll do an update when I get my sweet girl back, for now I highly recommend this service!!! 3/2/22 UPDATE- I feel it very important that anyone looking to cremate their sweet baby, they need to go to Paws in Heaven. As I’m sure you have read, I’ve suffered a major loss of my baby girl. Paws in Heaven staff has been so professional, informative and most of all very empathetic, both Amy and Parker truly helped me through this process of cremation and what it entails. I had decided I needed to see my baby girl one more time before she was cremated, Parker was very kind and explained the process to me, I told her I needed to see her again, she was very accommodating and set a day for me to come do a viewing one last time. The day came and I was nervous, but she helped me feel and that I was normal to want to see her one last time. When I went in to the area where they do the cremations it was so peaceful, she had prepared my baby’s little body by wrapping her in a white sheet wrapped with a lavender bow around her, I won’t go into anymore details, but the viewing experience was by far the most sweet and peaceful experience that I needed, Parker was very respectful and gave me my time with my baby, Parker was very delicate with my girl and proceeded with the process. It was what I needed, and Paws in Heaven is forever in my heart for loving and respecting my little girl!!!!
I had the misfortune of my family cat dying recently while I was away. I was heartbroken, thinking that I had missed my chance to say goodbye to her. Thankfully, Paws in Heaven allowed me to do so once I got back into town, providing me with a refreshing level of empathy and space to mourn my loss. They were also very courteous in answering my admittedly repetitive questions about where she my cat was at in the process of preparing her and her urn. It also helps that the engraving turned out lovely.
Matt was incredible taking care of our pup who passed while we were out of town 5 hours away. Our almost 12 year old American Staffordshire hadn't been doing too well, but seemed okay for us to leave for the weekend, with him in the care of our friend/neighbor. The day before we were due home they let us know that our Talon walked into his dog house and never came out. When they checked on him, they were sure he was gone. I called Matt on a Saturday, and he was at our home within a few hours, this was so important to me since I didn't want our pup laying outside, alone all weekend. With great care, he and our neighbor loaded Talon into his vehicle and transported him to Matt's crematorium for a minimal fee. We received his ashes back, in a beautiful velvet bag inside a wooden box, along with a terracotta Paw Print we opted for. The packaging was done beautifully and with great care. Thank you so much Matt and all the people of Paws In Heaven!
