We waited over a half hour for our food. The fries were dry and discolored and also made from frozen. The vegetables were bagged frozen mix. I ordered the churrasco which was medium rare on one side and well done on the other. It was also poorly seasoned and no chimichurri. Chicken was bland and overcooked. My husband had the bistec milanesa which he said tasted like it was pre-cooked and reheated. You’ll also be watching/listening to daytime talk shows. Another client left after waiting a half hour and they had not even started cooking his food yet but there was only one other person in the restaurant who had already finished eating. Not sure why this place has any good reviews.
1st time ordering from these restaurant we were visiting my sister at Southwest Ranches area and decided to order out. My husband and I ordered the churrasco Which ended up being a bad decision. The meet wasn't clean properly prior to cooking, smells and taste was disgusting. Plus no shimichurri. Luckily the moros and yuca was okay.
The table was very sticky, the wait wasn’t too long. As far as food, the pan con bistec was decent, and for the breakfast I wasn’t impressed.
Awesome food! Delicious tasting Cuban coffee! Very clean dining area and restaurant is located in a clean plaza! Staff is very helpful and efficient.
This is a hidden gem. But once you find it, it is worth the search. Excellent, authentic food. It's like grandma is in the kitchen cooking for you. Nothing in the area even comes close.
I ordered the breakfast special with fried eggs and ham and house potatoes and Cuban toast. The toast was good but the eggs weren’t fried medium, they were over cooked and the ham was very salty and the potatoes were hard and they were steak fries not house potatoes. So I won’t be eating there again. I was very disappointed with my food.
I ordered pollo a la plancha. Horrible! Flavorless as can be. The only flavor in my entire meal was the plantains. The chicken looks like it was seasoned with only salt and pepper and it taste that way too. The rice also has no flavor. The chicken is poor quality, super thick and fatty. I can never eat here again. It’s like they put salt, pepper and boiled the chicken. They must have thrown onions on after as decoration, cause it was just horrible all around. It was a waste of money. I had a few bites and tossed it, because lack of flavor aside, the quality of the chicken was really inedible.
Food was good, service was ok but you can tell when someone is smiling even when wearing a mask and this is the second time I’ve been there. 5 star but -1 star for not smiling. Menu online is not valid and the cashier didn’t honor the price listed online. -1 Star for not honoring their error not mine.
Terrible customer service. They canceled my order without notifying me and when I called them, they blamed Door Dash about them cancelling the order. My family including my children did not have lunch until very late because of this issue. It would have been more appreciated if actually they call and notify about a cancellation for any reason stated.
We went for lunch i got a sou o od the day... very salty .. taste like can soup.... I do not recomend it. Coffee was ok... my husband order ropa vieja.. it was not good...
