I do all my shopping here! They always have good deals and a big selection. The staff is very kind and are very helpful. They make you feel like you're their #1 priority! Highly recommend this store!!!
Ugh, where do I begin.... they have clothes in there from 2 years ago that they have not changed the prices on! Really! It's like they are on "sale" but then you could buy a newer in season one for the same price.... now usually I get a snooty cashier however the one I got today she was a little older and had some pep on her. She was great. They need to let go of some of their prices!
I like the clothing but trying to get through the check out was a whole nother story. They try to be pitch to much stuff to you while your trying to check out. First it was a reward card next a credit card then a magazine subscription. Seriously a reward card is enough!! It took me longer to get through the check out than it did to pick out 3 shirts.
I worked here for almost a year 8 months, to be exact. At first, I really enjoyed the atmosphere of my first retail job -- all the hustling and bustling made the hours go by quicker and getting to know the regulars made up for the negative aspects of the job. But towards the end of my employment there, I noticed so many things wrong with this store in particular: the store manager was VERY inefficient, especially with scheduling. During our busiest hours, we were incredibly short-staffed and we all seemed to work harder than was necessary because of that. She blatantly lied to several customers regarding the magazine sales, telling them they wouldn't be billed after the initial trial period, even if they didn't call to cancel which wasn't true. Her customer service skills were severely lacking -- most of our complaints were about her. Furthermore, she acted vindictively and cruelly: if an employee upset her, she would cut their hours that next week. When one of our assistant managers turned in a two-week notice, she refused to let her finish out her two weeks. From the customers' perspective and these are just some of the complaints I heard from customers while I worked there, the general service quality had severely worsened since the store used to be Watson's. People were dissatisfied with the coupons, since the policy about their usage seemed to constantly be changing. Overall, it was a terrible job experience for me -- if the company had put more effort into their customer service instead of having the highest numbers in the district, they'd have fared MUCH better.
This place has ridiculous prices. Items are labeled on sale, then you get to the register and they aren't honored by sales people. I did get an awesome blue jean Levi's jacket there for $50. Prolly could have got it on ebay a lot cheaper like the rest of the things I was gonna buy. They put out coupons for their store, but have so many exclusions you cant use them. This is why brick and mortar retail is dying.
Love buying clearance items. Only problem is it it is not for those who are handicapped. I use a small scooter and I can't shop using it, and the buggys are not user friendly. Limits my time for shopping.
The worst customer service I have ever experienced in a store. I have never had an employee act so rudely to me in my life. I had a product taken out of my hands that I was planning to purchase after multiple comments made to rush me while I was looking. Management definitely needs to monitor and train their employees to a higher standard. Will never go back.
This place is great. My niece won homecoming this year at Elizabethton High. The offered to do her makeup for free. The makeup counter lady is amazing with matching tones. The managers and owners are terrific
No sales associates to help find things or answer any questions. Manager Gail, seemed to be indifferent about helping customers. The gentleman as cashier was very helpful..
If white bread was a store, this would be it. also the ceilings dripped on me and there were no trash cans anywhere. the blandest clothes and people i’ve ever seen. will not be coming back
