Great atmosphere for a college hockey game! The Penn State student was loudly behind the team, which added to a phenomenal collegiate hockey experience. Pegula ICE Arena is a phenomenal environment where you are right on top of action where you can feel the intensity of the play on the ice. We are...Penn State!
Love being here for Hockey Season, the fans are Outrageously Supportive. I'm always in awe every game.
Great atmosphere for hockey games. Food is "stadium prices," but not over-the-top expensive, and better than average options to choose from, including sausage, cheesesteaks, and fresh donuts. Dress warm - it is a room full of ice.
1st timer at the arena on a Friday evening - watched PSU vs Notre Dame. Wow, what an awesome time, while we lost yup, im a penn stater, I had a blast enjoying great food, helpful staff, and that awesome rocking and rolling student section
Great seats, love that there are cup holders on the back of the seats for drinks. Seats were definitely stadium seating, but it felt less cramped than other event arenas.
Home of the Penn State Nittany Lions hockey team. Well designed facility. Great atmosphere and energetic crowd. Decent food at the concession stand. Small souvenir stand . Good night out for college hockey.
I love this rink/arena. From playing on Club Curling teams and Broomball on the practice rink, to Rock the Ice events for Ice Skating, to the electric environment for hockey that is more frigid to the opponents then the temperatures in the room.
My grandson had an absolute fantastic time and the helpers were wonderful helping the kids
The Pegula Palace is a nice spot to catch a hockey game or go for open skate. The seats are arranged such that the angles are all quite nice here and the tickets are never outrageously expensive like football, but still students have to pay for them. There is a Subway and several other miscellaneous restaurants and concession stands here that will keep you well-fed, and they accept your dining dollars.
The experience I had is okay. The venue was smaller than the tsongas arena from lowell MA. It was also disappointing to see Penn state lose in the home game. The fan were not to happy. Finally, the food was affordable and taste and the serves were very polite.
