Pelican State Urgent Care

The nurses and support staff were absolutely great! Huge thank you to all the nurses and support staff that assisted during the visit. The doctor that we saw knew her stuff, but had one of the WORST bedside manners that I've ever experienced. My family is not well off, but we aren't poor either. We are in a bad living situation that has caused the need to use the urgent care. The doctor on site was rude and summarizing said that we should know better and not let this heat wave heat the house up as much as it is. Health-wise, she knew what she was talking about except heavily pushing vegetarianism, but she should know how to speak to patients especially after boasting about being a doctor for over 20 years.

Love this place greeted with smiles and professional and great staff all across the board… would def recommend this place… Keep up the great work

I'm too sick to write a real review. Wasn't awful but I didn't feel like the care was thorough. I wouldn't recommend. Update: I had pnumonia when I came here and they didn't even catch it!! Not only that refused to send my rx over to walgreens. Sick as a dog and had to go there twice. I deserve a refund.

Myself and my family have been going to this clinic for over 20 years. Always excellent medical care delivered in a timely manner. Extra snaps for friendly front office staff and excellent clinicians.

Very friendly staff, you receive a smile as soon as you walk in. The whole staff are working hard to get you seen in an out. No time is wasted with unnecessary waiting.

If I could give negative stars I would. Have used this facility before with great results, however, last week was it for me. Didn't even see an MD, only a PA couldn't tell you her name and she helped with NOTHING. All I asked for was a couple of shots to help me feel better since it was two days before Thanksgiving. After a 3-4 minute "visit", I was told I have seasonal allergies have never experienced this in 53 years and to get Flonase OTC for the steriods I need. Basically they stole $100 copay from me, even though I have two insurances and sent me on my way. The Flonase cost more than a RX nose spray and a shot would have given me the boost I needed. Thanks for nothing.....I remained sick and got a little worse before getting better on my own. This brunette PA was ABSOLUTELY WORTHLESS and I am still fuming at how dismissive she was. Medical assistant that took my vitals was no ray of sunshine either but I can overlook that since she was just a necessary means to an end. Front desk girl was pleasant enough. My problem is solely with the PA that did nothing for $100 copay

Went here for a pre-employment drug test. There were no other customers there so it was pretty quick. The people working here have less customer service skills than a BMV employee that missed their last break. The people I encountered at the Pelican State Outpatient Center seemed like they didn't give a s**t if I was there or not. I could never imagine being desperate enough to visit Pelican State Outpatient Center for urgent care services. I'd go out of my way to get to somewhere else.

The staff is always friendly and the doctors are wonderful there. The wait time was not long at all.

This place is the absolute worst. If you're into waiting hrs to see a nurse or Dr then this is your kind of place. The service at the front desk act like YOU are disturbing them with your problems. Highly recommended going somewhere else.

Should have listened to the reviews. Went in for Urgent Care. Rude staff. Nurse kept telling me to shush. PA came in and wanted to do some swabs. Waited FORTY minutes before going into the hallway to see what the holdup was. Pretty sure I was forgotten about. Never again will I come here.
