My husband and I came here for dinner. He ordered General Cho’s Chicken which comes with soup. He liked his food, but it was just okay. I ordered the Happy Family which has everything in it-vegetables, beef, chicken, pork, shrimp or crab meat all kinds of meat. I ordered ths because I could not decide which meat I want. Sadly I didn’t like the dish. The Happy Family dish was so smothered in brown sauce that it was not enjoyable to eat. The meat looks like left over meat from their other dishes and I can tell by the cut of the meat. It is for this reason that I am giving this restaurant a 3-star rating. The serving is generous, especially the dinner portion. We also ordered the dumplings which I enjoyed. I would not come back here again as I did not like the ambiance not bright and airy. table placements are a bit crowded. That’s just me. I still encourage you to try it; hopefully you will have a better experience than my husband and I did. Kid-friendliness: children can comfortably sit with family. Since the portions are generous, you can just share some of the orders with the kid. If I remember correctly, they also have a kid menu. Parking: It’s free parking. Wheelchair accessibility: There’s no stairs or elevated spaces, so it is easy for someone in a wheelchair to wheel in and out of the restaurant.

OVERALL: You will pay for what you get!! So for some cheap chinese food I say why not! It seems like some people enjoy it! it seems like it’s a family owned so I didn’t want to criticize too much because family owned restaurants always deserve second chances! try at your risk! I went here because it was rated 4.4 stars with 800 reviews I was super hopeful! Crab rangoon’s was literally cheese rangoons i suggest they change the name so people don’t get confused! The sweet and sour sauce was lighter for some reason… Egg roll we got on the side with our order is a HARD NO. it’s something you buy at the freezer section and reheat. my boyfriend got the lemon chicken he said it was okay but the chicken wasn’t cooked all the way so we just took it home so we can re cook it! I had the sesame chicken it was okay as well. we both had the different soups and we both enjoyed it. With that being said our server had his hand in our fried wonton chips so that was super unsanitary. on my health code rating I would give it a 1/5 because of the server, then I didn’t see them wipe down any tables, Also I highly doubt they change the spoons on a daily bases in the hot oil which is scary because there’s a lot of who don’t know that’s a community oil so they put it in their bowl or etc.

It was a bit hot inside but we loved the food and the service was decent. I ordered Triple delight w steamed rice and my fiancee ordered gen tso chicken. Delicious. U should try it .Food: 4/5

Yes! Yes! Yes! Ndeed. My Bride found this little place tucked away in a small shopping plaza. You know the type of place you go into and the waitress, cashier and bus boy knows ALL the customers by name. So you KNOW they all come back for a reason. The food is simply amazing. The portions are huge. The egg rolls ginormous and full of flavor. I could go on and on. Food hot from beginning to putting it in our take home containers. Good Claude!!!

The search for good chinese food in san antonio continues... I'd read good reviews about this place but sadly I have not found my go to chinese restaurant yet. I hate to start with this, but the place literally stunk like wet carpet. Hope it was a one time issue. Anyhow, I got my usual Kung-Pao Chicken and although It had a good. amount vegetables and chicken the sauce was way too sweet! I'm still undecided about whether or not I loved the egg roll or not. definitely not 'the best in town ' as one person wrote, but not bad either. Hot n sour soup was ok. All in all, same mediocre Chinese food I seem to continue to find everywhere..‍

Loved it! Very fast service , staff are friendly. Everything cooked to perfection this place rivals other Chinese restaurants: I had the sweet and sour chicken while my fiancé had the general chao chicken Kid-friendliness: They have small plates for kiddos if needed

we have ate here multiple times most of the time it’s very good! My husband loves the sweet and sour chicken from here I usually get general chicken but I have tried other things on the menu. Kids like the rice. The wonton soup is so good! The place is worth trying out. Large portions and price is not bad at all.
