This company is an absolute joke. My toddler son tried to ride one of their slides which he was tall enough to ride with an adult. They then tell me I cannot even ride with him, but I must take him to the top and send him down on his own, when he is not tall enough to go on his own. At the top my son gets scared of the rickety falling apart staircase we just had to climb so we take him back down, where they refuse to give the tickets back for the ride that wasn’t even ridden, and after the operator scammed us out of double the tickets, just to send my child down on his own anyways. Will never give this company another dime.
Penn Valley Shows is a family owned and operated traveling amusement company started by Kerry and Christina Benner in 2010. Although that seems recent, the Benner family has been in the outdoor amusement business for 40 years. Penn Valley Shows was created to accommodate the growing family and allow for expansion to the company from Kerry and Christina's three children; Chase, Alycia, and Chance.
This place is a joke, went around to see if my kids could go on the rides and they all were in zone. Went to buy a wrist band for $20 and asked them as well they measured him and said he could ride most rides. Found out they could only ride one ride. As for a refund and the girl says she the owner said well state law blah blah and told me to leave. Very rude. Should of asked her if she needed a midal. GUYS ITS A SCAM DONT TAKE.
Manager lacks customer service skills and is inept at managing crisis situations. It’s disheartening that Penn Valley staff respond incorrectly to customer inquires and then the manager refuses to honor the statements. Additionally, ride employees are allowed to scream at and belittle little kids, height requirements are not always clearly posted, and costs are ridiculous $5 per rider per ride and per game! Worst customer service we’ve ever experienced. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. Pitiful
Came to the carnival in sunbury. I asked the lady at the stand If they only have regular lemonade. And she said " what does that even mean? Regular lemonade? " and I explained with other flavors. Completely ignored me and walked away. They wonder why customers have anxiety
LOVE THESE PPL, THEY'RE VERY KIND TO EVERYONE N WISH THEY JUST CAME BACK TO PA BC THIS HOUGHTON CARNIVAL IS HORRIBLE TO ALOT OF PPL N THEY DON'T SEEM TO HAVE ANY RIDES U WANNA GET ON AT ALL N ITS ALWAYS DIRTY, I REALLY SHOULD'VE TOOK PICS JUST TO SHOW HOW DIRTY THINGS ARE BC BENNERS ALWAYS HAVE CLEAN EVERYTHING WHILE HOUGHTON NEVER SEEM TO CARE. I WORKED FOR BOTH N JIM HOUGHTON N HIS SONS ALWAYS HAVE TEMPERS FLARING ALL THE TIME WHILE KENNETH BENNER N HIS FAMILY WERE ALWAYS POLITE N SHOWED KINDNESS TO PPL, GOD BLESS THE BENNERS!!
If I could give 0 stars I would they are a joke. They are not autism friendly at all I watched them deny a mother taking her autistic child on the slide the lady was super rude and disrespectful ! I do not recommend this ride company! Unprofessional and disrespectful!
I think the wristband should be till close. No reason it shouldn’t and parents should be able to ride with a baby without tickets
