It was happy hour 2-5 pm They charged full, I had to say something. The tone of the cashier's voice changed evil when I said something. I wanted my drinks for a dollar, why do people who work there not know when their own happy hour is? Ps. if you are working with food there is absolutely no reason to wear long nasty fake nailsthink of all the food and bacteria underneath Anyway food was pretty good just disappointed about that.
The person in charge of the drive thru told us to hold on a minute and then turned off the drive thru speaker system. An employee came out the back door and saw there were 3 cars behind me just sitting there and he yelled in we have customers. We waited at the speaker for half an hour. Even though the guy at the window apologized the customer service at Taco Bell in Shamokin dam has always been very poor. I will not be returning anymore. Obviously the owner doesn’t care about this store and of course Taco Bell will want you to take a survey or something so they can “correct this” when in all reality it just means people need to be fired.
The service was horrible!!! The manager was to busy talking!! She didn't care that people were coming in!! She ignored them all!!! I have been in food service for years. And I have never seen anyone who doesn't care like her!! I also called to let her know. I asked for the manager she gets on the phone was rude didn't say she was the manager or her name. Very very bad for business!! Ps. Hope the owner reads this!!!
Not terribly clean. Not terribly fast. Food is okay but it's not Del Taco. Actually pretty decent compared to Other Taco Bells. No attempt at crowd control. Not nearly enough seating. When they call out your name, they only do so once and they pick the person with the quietest voice to call out names. Told one of the employees that the syrup was out in the soda machine. Nothing was done. Soda area was a filthy mess. Noticed drive through had MASSIVE potholes on opposite sides so no way to avoid them, watched one car bottom out. It's far too small of a place for the amount of foot and car traffic it receives. Would I go back? No. There's much better options nearby. Parking: Parking is awful. You're competing with drive thru traffic. Good amount of handicapped parking.
The food was good just like any other taco bell but you definitely have to have a lot of time before getting the food.Food: 3/5
The app was giving us problems and we were told by the manager on duty that there was nothing they could do to assist us. The item we ordered is not on the regular menu as priced in the app. No substitutions or solutions offered at all. So, we left hungry and disappointed ****Updates-- I have since returned twice and completely different experience. Happy due to the fact there is no other taco bell near me. The ratings went from 1 star to four star.
On 1/26/2023, I placed my order via the app for pickup at the drive-through. Whilst this particular location has never been close to fast, their service this day was positively abysmal. After notifying the drive-through attendant that I was there to pick up a mobile order, I proceeded around the corner...where I waited for twenty 20 minutes as the second vehicle in the line. Not the fifth vehicle or the twenty-second. I was the second in line. Finally, the gentleman in front of me pulled away without even having received his food. After I approached the window, I continued to sit there for several more minutes before anyone inside the window even bothered to acknowledge my presence. When the poor girl working the window finally opened it up, she handed me two coupons for a free taco with a future purchase and informed me that the wait would be "a while yet." I told the attendant I did not have time to continue waiting and asked if I could simply cancel my order and receive a refund, since I was already charged through the app. She replied, "I have absolutely no idea how to do that. You'll probably have to contact the people through the app," at which point I just drove away. But, it's good to know that Taco Bell values me exactly $3.78 plus tax, and only if I order other food for this debacle. The silver lining, however, is that my future decision-making process when selecting an eating establishment will be that much easier.
The drive thru has been insanely long in the past, but with the addition of the walk-in pickup, that has resolved that issue entirely as an alternate option. We've had a few messed up orders, so check your bag. Sometimes we get the food and it's amazing. It's kind of fun going there, like a gamble.
The woman at the drive through was VERY patient with us....we had three separate orders in one vehicle ... she was FABULOUSFood: 5/5
Learn how to read before absolutely ruining 50$+ orders, it’s like school children having to solve word puzzles. How many time can I order a STEAK CHALUPA and have it come with your nasty beef on it? Like come on guys this is ridiculous. Do I need to write it out on huge cards with crayon for you to understand my orders? Do I need a translator? I legitimately just want a steak chalupa no sour cream how hard is that?
