We provide a place where "old" clothing, furniture and miscellaneous of every type can be re-used, at very low prices. We believe in recycling!
People Helping People thrift store is dedicated to providing the community of Grande Ronde Valley with inexpensive secondhand clothing, books, furniture, housewares, and miscellaneous items of all sorts. With exciting items going out on shelves on a daily basis, each visit promises to be a treasure hunt!
We love to accept donations! Whether you are cleaning out the garage, need a place to take all those old baby clothes, are scrapping old furniture, or simply didn't sell much at that summer yard sale - bring it all down to the shop! Don't have a vehicle to move it? We can arrange to pick it up for you in our bright blue van!
At times we may not be accepting certain items due to overstock and space, so its always a good idea to call ahead or stop by and take a look at the signs posted on the door - and of course, we will be keeping you updated on this page.
While owned and managed by Irene Martin, the crew of People Helping People is made up of volunteers and those in need of community service hours. If you are interested in volunteering or need community service, we can help you! We also have a program to help provide clothing and household items for people leaving situations of domestic violence, people getting out of rehab programs, and people who are homeless. For more information please contact the owner.
Above all, we love to have fun and get to know the people in our community. Even if your not in the mood to shop, come on down and have a cup of complimentary coffee and a chat!
