Founded by sixth generation local, Deve Wolfe, Tempting Teal Boutique was originally called Wolfe Fleece & Clothing Company in 1998. Until 2007, Wolfe Fleece & Clothing Co. sold only polar fleece clothing and accessories that were designed and produced by a team of local stay at home moms. Gradually Deve added women's clothing and accessories to the store. The baby fleece items and the fleece socks are still available. The rebranding was complete in 2013 with the new store name -"Tempting Teal Boutique".
