Play, explore, create, and imagine at the Peoria PlayHouse, an interactive children’s museum!
The Peoria PlayHouse Children's Museum opened in June 2015. Built by the Junior League of Peoria, in collaboration with Peoria Park District and Peoria Zoological Society, The PlayHouse is a hands-on, interactive children’s museum. It is located in the historic Glen Oak Park Pavilion building within Glen Oak Park, adjacent to Peoria Zoo and near Luthy Botanical Garden, providing a full-day destination for families in our region.

The Peoria PlayHouse Children's Museum provides children with the tools and inspiration they need to be explorers and creators of the world. We do this in part through understanding, supporting, and promoting play in the fullest sense of the word, one that includes imagination and creativity.
