*updating review from 4 years ago* Love it here. Perfect for events. We've bowled here on several occasions and they will always be my go-to. Shawn was accommodating and attentive the entire time. We had our daughter's 7th birthday party here- the turnout was about 10 more heads than those that RSVP',d. The more the merrier and we had enough food and bevs for all. Shawn, again, was so easy to work with & understood that we did not plan on such a big group. We were so happy. The kids bowled the entire time and everyone enjoyed themselves. I forget Shawn's wife's name sorry. She left before the party started but she was an absolute doll. Thank you 2 for an awesome afternoon! Can't wait to come back. -Nicole, Louie, & Josie

Small, fun, and a blast from the past! This place definitely has Big Lebowski vibes. It’s a bit hard to find your first time, but once you’re in, it’s not a place you’ll be forgetting anytime soon. The best part, imo, is that it’s BYOB and Food. I recommend grabbing a pizza and some beers on your way over for a great time.

Had one of the most memorable bowling experiences I have ever had here. Really loved the vibe and how they preserved the original ball returns. Shawn was super welcoming and such a nice guy. It felt like we were friends before we took off once our games were done. Will definitely be back.

Best bowling alley in North America. Strong contender for top 25 basements on the continent as well. I have never seen such pure, unbridled anarchy in a sport of any kind. Truly heartbroken to hear the building is being sold to developers who will undoubtedly be turning it into a horrible trash heap condo made entirely out of grey bricks

Unfortunately after they fired Dan the staff doesn't seem to care to oil the lanes. Been about a month of no oil, not a place for serious bowlers. Good for families / casuals however.

Pep Bowl was empty for the weekday special around 1pm. My fiance and I had the place to ourselves. Plenty of balls to choose from and the old equipment works perfectly. It's crazy charming and quaint. Service was quick and friendly and the cost of bowling supports a good cause. Easy five out of five.

Super friendly staff and a very scaled down bowling alley giving you intimate vibes and space at the same time! I had a blast! The music playing is also great so you just hang out jamming to your fave tunes.

Great, no frills bowling. Only 6 lanes, but does not feel cramped. Very cool retro ball return and vibe in general. Cheaper and better than North/South Bowl. It’s BYOB food and drinks which I also love, but newcomers should be aware.

the best bowling in philly, i dont know why anyone would go anywhere else.
