It is just terrible place. After check in you will wait 2-3hrs when they give you call and tell what dock to back in. Then after you backed in you will wait another 2 hrs until you get loaded. It is messed up. I will make sure i wont go there anymore ever..
Unless you like to spend your entire day waiting in your truck, DO NOT book any beverage loads going to or leaving from Chevery/Hyattsville, MD! I never came here and gotten loaded/unloaded in less then 4hrs. I waited 10hrs to get called into a dock to unload empty cans, but that was only after I threatened to leave with the load. It still took them 2 hrs to unload me. No stores or bathrooms anywhere near..Stay aware from here!
Absolutely no respect for a Carrier’s time. It doesn’t matter if you come late, early or on-time you will sit for hours. Don’t book anything in advance because you could easily wait an entire day to get unloaded. I pulled in at 7:30am and I’m still waiting on a door it’s now 1:23pm. It literally only takes 30mins to load and unload empty cans.
As others have said, it's tight. I had door #9 which is up the hill. There is enough room to turn around and the backing wasn't too difficult. The yard is very small though and I am very surprised that PepsiCo, as huge as they are, is still using such a small facility. Seems a bit rinky dink for one of the world's largest companies. People were nice and I checked in around 1pm for a 5pm appointment. I was in a door by 2pm and the unload didn't take too long either.
Checked in at 2 am for my 11 am appointment. I got dock at 3:30 pm, was empty at 5:20 pm. Everything so slow. Yard driver wanted to fight me because I drove by him too close as hi said, when you get here you will see that is here not much room for maneuver. I will not take a load for them again.
Mane if you have an appointment time it wouldn’t even matter what time it is. You’ll be waiting for a good 4-5hours plus to EVEN get a call to get on the door. Avoid this place and any loads if possible.
Not to bad all/no staging parking/ no overnight parking because high population it's normally for this area Nicely professional commutation check 1hr before appointment time/ just parking side street & walk to check & guardsmen call for dock/Easy in /out Organized/Clean facility/ little tiny docking /Thanks lot who's working hard God bless Appointment 10 am / check 9 am/ready to go 10 10 am Super Fast loading

Appt at 2pm checked in at 1145am walked back to the gate at 3 asking them what’s going on dude tells me the last guard said he couldn’t hear you over the truck so I was like why did he tell me go ahead and park and take my # it’s 5 pm & I’m still waiting smh never again!!!
Don't ever go here. I stood here from 9 am to 6 pm. I brought empty cans. There Is No Toilet!!! You are standing on the road!
