We just returned from our 1st Perillo Tour of Italy. It was a 14 day Perillo Tours “Northern Classic” tour of Italy. We wanted to visit Italy and needed a tour where someone could translate the Italian language if necessary, as well as a tour that would provide us with interesting as well as beautiful and cultural venues. We chose Perillo Tours because of our familiarity with their past television advertisements doing these tours of Italy over the years. I'm happy to say that Perillo Tours was an excellent choice for us. The itinerary was fantastic and the Tour Leader, as well as all the Tour Guides, were truly outstanding. Every detail of our tour was perfect from the very beginning to the very end. The bus transportation traveling through Italy was top notch, as was the bus driver, who got us through some pretty narrow places with complete safety. The hotels that Perillo chose for us, as well as the food & meal choices when provided, were all top notch. Whenever we relocated to a new hotel, Perillo always took care of the luggage movement for us. The cities & places we visited were awesome as well. We were just so very impressed by the whole Perillo Tours experience that we would not hesitate to experience another Perillo Tour!
What a great first visit to Italy with Perillo! We did the Wonders of Northern Italy tour this Month. From the guides Angelica and Marco, to the accommodations, the scenery, the sights, and food. All top notch. We couldn’t have asked for a better planned vacation. Perillo handled every last detail. The biggest decision we had to make was where to get the next Gelato! Awesome experience with Perillo, awesome meeting people from all over the Country. Great travel partners. If you are planning an Italy trip, We would HIGHLY recommend going with Perillo. We have already started planning our next visit.
We have been home from our North Classic tour for just over a week and I am still going through photos remembering what an amazing vacation we had. Sandra, our tour guide, there are no words for! Her knowledge and care were only outmatched by her wit and sense of humor! We adored her! Mauro’s driving rivals any I have seen on two continents! The hotels, food, wine are only surpassed by the incredible sites, one just or more beautiful than the last. Perillo took very good care of us and I will definitely be looking into another tour!!!
Never been to Europe before and hesitant to go on our own. Asked a friend who had done an Italy tour around 25 years ago for recommendation and he said his experience with Perillo was fantastic. Well let me start this review by saying over 25 years and Perillo is still going strong and not disappointing. We had a WONDERFUL Time. From the moment you meet the rep. at the airport everything is coordinated and stress free. Accommodations were superior with breakfast buffet served every day. Dinners were good with two entrees to choose from and lets not forget to mention the local Italian wine on the table each night. All activities were planned out perfectly and our guide Shout out to MARCO was quick to amend planned activities when the weather went sour. On our trip to Isle of Capri the weather caused our charter boat to cancel. Marco contracted with a larger boat 60 miles down the coast to get us there. Shows they are willing to go above and beyond to meet the committed itinerary and keep everyone happy. I would never hesitate to book with Perillo again and neither should you.
My son and I took Perillo Tours to Italy for my 70th birthday. What a glorious time we had, our tour Guide was the best! Our hotels were awesome, the food incredible and the sights beyond compare. We were not disappointed. Perillo Tours took care of everything for us. I would happily go on any Perillo tour. The shot of the ceiling was in one of our hotel rooms.
My husband and I just finished the Flavors of Italy tour. Paolo was our guide and he totally made our trip the best possible experience ever. His knowledge of Italy, his incredible sense of humor and his kind, friendly demeanor, truly made our trip totally stress-free. We had no worries with Paolo watching over us. We could focus all our attention on Hearing the history of the areas we visited, and seeing the incredible, beautiful sites. Not to mention the amazing foods and wines we experienced. I never once felt nervous about being so far from home. Also our tour bus driver Enrico, was the best ever! Between Paolo and Enrico, our trip ended up being the best vacation we ever took! Thank you Perillo Tours for providing first class staff, accommodations, and for showing us how wonderful Italy is! We will be back!
This was our first trip to Italy. We booked Perillo on a recommendation from family. It was truly a trip of a lifetime. Our tour guide, Angelica was a wealth of information as were all the individual tour guides. We can't wait to go back.
My husband and I were on the Vesuvius Tour that started April 27th. It was a first for the both of us and definitely a trip we will not forget! Perillo took us first class from beginning to end. We spent 10 days with some of the nicest people! Fabrizio was our Tour Director and Stefano was our driver. They took care of all of us making sure the group was always together. Everything Perillo promises you is delivered and delivered WELL. We never even touched our luggage except at the airports. This was a very ambitious itinerary but did not disappoint. If you are thinking of planning your first trip to Italy....plan with them for sure!
End of July, absolutely wonderful Vesuvius tour with Marco S!! Our party of 9 made new friends in our group, everything was taken care of by Perillo, hotels, transportation, tours and Marco, first class all the way!!! Wouldn't change a thing. The perfect vacation of a lifetime!!! Will definitely choose Perillo again!!!
I just want everyone to know this information. Perillo as a whole are above and beyond professional and organized. Your tour will make the most special memories for life! Trust them, they are simply the best! We went on our first tour in March of this year and are booked for our next tour March 2024! I promise you it’s worth it!
