We took our dog to this salon today for a haircut. When I saw our Plush, I was very angry. She cut her hair terribly, not exactly. Now I can't tie her tails because there isn't enough length. From a beautiful well-groomed dog, they turned it into a monster. And yet, the record was at 10 am, and we took the dog at 13.35. In my opinion, this is too long for a Yorkie haircut. I don't recommend this salon to anyone.
The ladies are so sweet here! They accommodated my tardiness. They were so welcoming and caring to my dog Apollo. I would highly recommend this place for all your pet grooming needs.
We've been bringing our cat here for a few years after learning about them from a friend who has been a customer for even longer than us! The whole staff is inviting and very caring towards the animals and owners experience. Jason is a wonderful cat groomer and so patient, even if our cat is having a tough day. Prices are competitive and the location is always cleanly.
I took my dog there for a hair cut bath yesterday. They called me two hours later that he is acting out and they couldn’t finish the job. They asked me to go in and help them with holding him. I went in and tried to help them. Let me point out that this had not ever happened before. He has been in several salons and this is the first time. After i went and helped them finish the job, I realized they had done a crappie job cutting his hair. They shave lines didn’t match and he had different hair lengths with different patches all over his body. Now the worst part is that he never pees inside. In the past 36 hours since his haircut, he has peed twice inside and does not act like himself. I hope they start paying attention to the pets that go there but one thing is for sure. I will never ever fo back!
I'm sorry to say that I was very dissatisfied with the way our pup looked when she left the shop, she looked nothing like the way she does after being groomed at where we usually go. WoW doggie in Gardena they did take me without an appointment, and in all fairness our dog was a little beyond her usual grooming, but we were told we would be charged a little more & we agreed, and we were! Poor & inexperienced job. Never again.
Our miniature poodle and schnauzer have been getting their haircuts at Pet City for a year and it's the only place we'll take them for their haircuts. After taking them to some fancier places in NorCal who would always leave them with razor burns and the extreme shakes upon entering, it's been great to find a place where our dogs feel reasonably comfortable with getting their beards trimmed and butts cleaned up. The staff is always friendly and our pups always leave the shop looking fresh. There's plenty of parking in the shopping center and while sometimes the cuts can take a while, we appreciate that the staff provides realistic timelines for when they'll be done. They come out smelling like sunshine and looking ready for a photoshoot every time.
Beautiful summer cut for my Yorkie. Close and even and clean with no skin showing through. He looks like a show dog.
DANGEROUS INFECTIOUS MRSA. Be careful I picked up our standard poodle six hours after drop off. The groomer mentioned it took three of them to pull hair out from inside the ear. Three humans with a 28lb poodle. Poodle was distraught and had sensitive ears. Within 12 hours she developed puss and a smell in her ears. Trip to the vet, steroids, antibiotics, morphine for the pain and a bacterial culture confirmed poodle has MRSA, a resistant staff infection. She's now been to the vet four times for ear cleaning and check ups. Another appointment booked for tomorrow. I called the groomers, they showed no compassion or any responsibility. I've asked for a refund of the grooming not asking for the $700+ medical bill and they are 'talking to the owner'. They were meant to call back, they have not.
They are quick and friendly and my big dog seems to like them - he's always been very upset about bath time but doesn't seem as traumatized - I agree w the other reviewer that there is no doggie smell - the place feels clean and professional! We have become regulars.
