Pet Wants of Springfie

My dog Gidget works alongside me everyday. She’s seemed a little tired as well as not being interested in her food at mealtimes. After being a vendor at the farmer’s market next to Fred from Pet Wants, I decided to try feeding my darling co-worker the chicken and brown rice. Like it? She loves it! She always does some work before she gets her kibbles and where she used to do a fun jump at hip-high before, she now jumps eye level or higher! As a side note, she doesn’t seem to want as many breaks at marketing events. I’m seeing my dog have more energy and pizzazz so I’m very pleased with my switch to this food! Thanks Pet Wants!

Me and the boys are so happy we found Pet Wants. We started with just Chews from them and now do the food as well. They are doing so much better on the NEW Food. Thank you Pet Wants for loving my babies like I do. Geronimo, Red Cloud say Thank You as well.

Joy, joy, joy. Thanks to the manager here I was able to find something that comforts my dog and stops her from tearing at her feet. For 4+ years I have spent thousands because I am a crazy dog mom trying to find something, from shampoos to supplements to medications to prescription foods to tests to you name it to try to stop her itching. She rips at her feet and ears and nothing, neurological, allergy, or whatever, works much at all. I went into this store on a whim and the manager talked to me about this particular supplement and explained how it worked. She was extremely knowledgeable and I thought, "What do I have to lose?" So I tried it and I am shocked. My dog is actually laying down beside me not ripping her feet apart. Priceless. Priceless. Priceless.

Our cat loved your catnip pillow and it is one of his favorite toys now. Most importantly, thank you for being local and actively participating in Springfield commercial district market. Our cat loves you for catnips and we love you for keeping Springfield crafty.

I tried to go in and buy frozen dog food. Primal beef flavor. It was marked down. I asked when the would be getting more. Because the dog food expired in 12/22. I told her that I did not want to feed my dog expired dog food and she said she was not going to order more until they sold the old product. I am just so upset that they charge $29-$39. And it’s expired. If you sell that what else is expired in your store! I won’t be back. And all of my friends also shop there! I will be telling everyone I know that they do not tell you if the food and treats they sell are expired or old! That is one reason I started shopping with you because I trusted you to sell my dog great and healthy food. But I guess not!

This place is amazing! They make their own dog food, fresh every month. My Yorkie is incredibly picky, but he likes their food so much I can literally give it to him instead of treats. They also have a ton of goodies, healthy toppers and skincare for your pup. I'm so happy I found them!

Love this place! Their dog food is so much better quality then other places. It has a stronger smell and a not as dry texture. Our dog was super receptive to switching to this food. I also like how they don’t sell or promote rawhide here. I can trust whatever I buy will be good for our dogs health without having to do too much label reading lol.

What a gem! Great quality products and fresh food. Unique natural treats. Knowledgeable guidance for our particular needs and I easily returned a seat cover that we changed our mind about. Our dog loves the food and you can change flavors without upset stomachs. Also fun and festive birthday/holiday stuff. They've got me covered and I'm glad someone recommended me. Also, your dog can bring you as long as you're leashed

Really wanted to support a locally owned pet store, and had heard great things about this one. Needed some skin and coat treats for the pups and thought I’d check it out! When i walked in I was greeted by the employee and asked if they could help me find anything and so I mentioned what I was looking for to the employee. She asked what i fed them and I told her followed with how I’m not interested in changing their food at this time and am simply wondering if they have any treats for skin and coat. Employee went on for about 10 minutes about the food Pet Wants sold, talking over me and not listening when I said I wasn’t interested. When she finally accepted defeat, multiple times after she said under her breath how if i would just change to their food then I wouldn’t need supplements. Pro’s it is a super cute store with a lot of neat products, treats, supplements, and toys! Not to mention the pet food they do sell is very good if you want to step up your pets food game. Cons Employee kept going on about the dog food after telling her multiple times I wasn’t interested in switching foods at this time. If it wasn’t for that I would have definitely been down to try switching my dogs to it. However, as pushy as the employee was today I won’t be returning or recommending it to friends anymore. Hopefully there is another locally owned pet store I can find to support instead.

We love this store, and Holly is fantastic to work with. Their delivery is fast and the food is healthy. Our dogs love it, and we feel good about giving them homemade food, knowing what ingredients are used. Any service from Pet Wants is nothing less than excellent!
