Petco - Chantilly (Va)

It’s a good store. Decent selections on the items you need. Friendly staff, clean store. Love the team working with Vetco. They offer affordable prices for pet vacations.

Bought a 20G fish tank. Polite and helpful staff. 4/5 because the 20G tank was brought from the back without any label or boxing. I purchased the tank but have concern that it may be a return or second-hand product.

I never write reviews…I went in today to pick out a fish with my kids. I am so glad I came here…we met Brandon, who was AMAZING. He answered all our questions, gave us some great guidance and helped us get started with everything we needed without being pushy or salesy. Most of all, he is passionate and gave us such great service. I was honestly so surprised at the level of customer service from a chain store. Thank you, Brandon!!

I just came to buy the engraved name tag for my dog. The staff was very helpful. I also got a free consultation about my dog training. Thanks!

We bought our female betta fish Artemis 2 floating moss balls here. The staff were prompt, friendly, and knowledgeable. We would come again. The animals and fish looked healthy. I liked the variety of bettas as well.

I'm literally sitting in the parking lot writing this review. I came in with my children to buy fish for our fish tank and a snake plus all the supplies for a snake. Not once were we greeted or assisted by any of the staff the entire 30 min plus as we waited patiently for assistance. I'll take my business elsewhere. Something Management may need to focus on.

The grooming appt was fine and they did a great job. My biggest complaint is that the store hours are 9 am and the store employee that opened the store was late with no apologies or explanation. No customer service when checking out for items after leaving pet for grooming appt. This has led us to not return to this location despite our pet going there several times. Not sure if these 2 individuals lacking customer service were employees or managers. Disappointed.

I wanna make complaints to whoever that it at the vetco this after noon 14:00-14:40. She is literally like we owe her something. We brought our three kittens to take vaccine. But we don’t know we should bring separate carriers. If so we still won’t cuz they are too afraid in separate ones. Because they are only two month old. After we arrived, she firstly refused to take these three cats and said they should be in separate carriers and suggested us to buy the carrier sold by Petco. And finally we said ok we can, but she still refused to take our three kittens and said we ran out of time. But we made three appointments and there is no one after us. I don’t know why Petco has staff like this. I know vetco is not the main business but that person sucks. I’ll never buy animal supplies from Petco again. Learn from chewy please!

Well-stocked but somewhat overpriced. Most items, even bulky ones, are cheaper on Amazon. Big issue, though, is the grooming service. We brought our dog for a scheduled appointment, and he ended up crated for hours while they attended to other customers. This dog is rarely crated, and never in one other than his own. He was anxious for a couple of days after.

Good selection of saltwater fish which are in great condition compared to burke location. Helpful staff
