What an amazing store! They have become dramatically better in the last year. It's like they are a completely new store. Their aquatics section is beautiful, and well kept. Their employees are very knowledgeable about all the animals and how to properly educate the new pet owners. Staff is very friendly and consistent.
I brought in a collar to exchange for a smaller size for my dog I had purchased the other day. The sales girl told me she's only been there 3 days and had not done a return before. She asked me if I could wait while she checked out other customers behind me. All I wanted to do was to finalize the exchange as well as purchase a leash. I was standing in that store for a good 15-20 minutes waiting to make my purchase and exchange. Why wasn't someone there to watch over and guide these new people?
I love visiting the kitties while I'm here. Petco pal rewards are great and we also save money and the environment by getting their litter. We bring our same litter tubs and fill them up for a small discount every time! There is typically some sort of sale on dog treats too which is great because the good ones aren't cheap! The staff is always helpful and knowledgeable! Petco is our shop!!!
Most the staff are pleasant except a rude girl, she also doesn't know anything about most the animals, bad customer service. Malnutrition leopard geckos, WAY to small cages for hamsters, Fish being kept in a small tank and dying, Tortoises that have awful tank sizes, not even fit for one tortoise! I'm absolutely appalled and angry at Petco chain stores, Only pet store you can buy some supplies at, I wish they wouldn't kill the animals that they have.
This is a great Petco. I love the people that work there -- great atmosphere of people that really do love animals. I trust their fish stock more than most other chain stores. Their animal cages and adoption areas are always cleaned out. Petco is usually a little more pricey than Petsmart by a few bucks, but I like a lot of their unique items, and I enjoy shopping here more. My pets have not had much luck at the grooming salon -- to be fair, my pets dog and cat are pretty high-maintenance when it comes to that kind of thing.
Truly a pet paradise! They have everything you'll need for whatever kind of pet you have: from cat and dog supplies and toys, to food and housing for bunnies, ferrets, lizards, and birds. They also have excellent coupons, especially if you adopt a pet from a shelter or pet rescue. So, give a loving home to an animal in need and check them out!
I'm so disappointed in how this store has gone downhill over the last couple of years.. I used to go here exclusively for my little critter's needs.. All of a sudden they stopped stocking what I needed. When asked about it they tell me there's a 'shortage'.. Well, that was 2 years ago, and as of just a couple of days ago I received the same response.. Interesting enough, the PetSmart just down the street has NEVER had this 'shortage' and I am able to get what I need every time there.. Therefore they now have my 100% business there...
I originally gave the store a 1 star because of an experience at the store BUT I received a call from a Sr. Manager and a call the store manager. They apologized and that says a lot. I'm giving them 5 stars because they showed me they care about the customers. An apology goes a long way and I really appreciate it!
Decent big box pet store. Clean. Friendly staff. Well stocked with basic pet stuff like you'd find in any other large pet store. I like to support local shops but Petco is great in a pinch.
My dog was seen in grooming today. Okami’s grooming was done beautifully and I have never had his nails done so well. I am very happy with his experience today. Thank you Brianna I hope I spelt that right
