Great place for all your pets needs. Our pups first cut at the groomers went very well. The groomer was very gentle and sweet with her. Also great training classes. Cool pup below is in one now. She thinks she's the main deva in the class.

Big beautiful pet smart with friendly staff. There are lots of betta fish and appropriate fish supplies, the other animal supplies also looked well stocked

We took our dog yesterday for grooming and specifically chose Rae as our groomer.  We are very happy with the results.  Our dog is extremely difficult to groom because she will not stand still for long, if at all.  Rae is so patient and kind with our dog.  Thanks again Rae!  See you next time and hopefully Smootch will be a little calmer.

Great Shop, Excellent Employees, Great Policy! Installed a new beautiful 10 Gallon Tank as a newbie. The employees who helped during this journey : Jess, Jamie, Carter, John, Cole. Very knowledgeable and very awesome.  Love These guys! Give them a raise and holler!

Recently got shouted at by an employee when I was looking at the fish and my dog looked at the small animals quietly and calmly from 2-3ft away. The employee said to get my dog away from the small animals and not to let my dog look at them because it really stresses the animals out… I ended up leaving but honestly if your small animals get stressed by dogs and people looking at them, it may be best to not have them displayed perhaps? Or even sell them… I was admittedly very shocked, I have never been shouted or spoken to about my dogs or other customers dogs looking at the rodents before, I guess it’s considered a serious issue now

Cashiers were friendly, but I can’t get past the condition of the tanks. The algae buildup was completely horrible. I used to work in a fish supply store, and we would have never allowed that to happen, just with a quick wipe inside the tanks with a sponge every other day it can be prevented

I have taken my dog to Mara who has now left.  I stupidly thought I might get lucky with another groomer.  Beck was not supposed to be a trainee, how ever her work was terrible.  When I picked my dog up after arriving early at her request she still kept him for 21/2hrs.  I really just looked at him and commented that he never had the fur on his back cut as he is a cavalier.   She had told me she had Maras notes.  To cut a long story short,  I have been having Cavalier s groomed for 40 years! And have never seen such a bad job.  I'm not sure she even trimmed his nails or cleaned his ears.  In fact he hardly seemed to be shampooed.  His fur looked as long as when I took him in except for a little shaved area around his rear end and his fur on his feet was trimmed.  I have been stewing over this for a few days but feel that people should be warned $71 ! that's  a lot to pay for virtually nothing.  Obviously  I will not go back.

My little 14 week old  "Pacino" boy had so much fun looking around Pet Smart Gardiner's Road for a new toy, he just could not decide so he tried fitting 4 toys in his mouth....he could not contain his excitement, he was bouncing and jumping in circles....he had to run up to all the employees to show them his new toys ....or should I say bragging about his new toys by pushing them in their face. He just about had a stroke when I took the toys from him so the gentleman could ring them through, he was about .3 secs from having a full on meltdown.....but he was even happier when he was offered one of his most favourite treats from the cashier Tid Bits ......it felt like taking a human child to Toys R Us, and the staff were incredible!!  Easiest 5 stars ever!!

Poor customer service and very unprofessional. Dropped my dog on time for his grooming appointment. They said they’re going to call when they’re done about 2-3 hours. 3 hours passed and I came back to check in and see how they’re doing. They weren’t done yet and asked us to come back. Few minutes later, they called me saying they couldn’t finish the service as my dog was reactive and trying to bite. The lady that explained what happened to us was unprofessional and gave an attitude. My dog spent almost 4 hrs to them only to refuse their service near the end. They didn’t even shaved him properly and left the head unfinished. They could’ve called early on and asked for a sedation or talked to us that they can’t service him but they didn’t. I won’t suggest nor going to come back here again. So disappointing!

I went into pet smart for my puppy’s first nail trim and ear clean today, the staff seemed very friendly and knowledgeable. After setting up the registration I was told to come back in around 20 mins. After 5 mins they called me back saying they were finished with everything. His nails were cut right to the nub. He’s now in pain and won’t walk properly. His ears don’t seem any cleaner than what they were going in. I’m baffled by this experience and won’t be taking him back to the grooming section again.
