Was told by a manager to call on Thursday to see if the fish they carry I was looking for would be in. I call and the associate was very rude and said they didn’t carry that fish. I said yes you do. I have purchased 2 and u have a tag for them on the empty tank . She continues to tell me they don’t cuz they don’t know what it is. Wouldn’t even go look. If I wasn’t 45 mins away I would of went myself. Not good customer service at all! If your associates don’t know things they should be willing to learn.
Don’t let that girl, Samantha touch any of your animals, I hate her from the bottom of my heart. She will hurt your animals if she simply just doesn’t like them. She is the most manipulative person I’ve ever met in my life please God do not let Samantha do anything to touch any of your beloved animals. She is an awful person in the disguise of a shy innocent girl. She makes guys truly want to kill them self so I can’t imagine what she does to pets.
went for a walk in appointment just to get my dogs' nails done, they made me wait for an hour and a half, WHICH I WAS CHILL ABOUT, and once they were ready for me told me they won't cut their nails despite having a current rabies tag on them both and gave me a half hour to drive all the way home, search for their rabies certification, and drive back. and the whole time, carolyn was an absolute jerk to me. it is ridiculous that they didn't tell me beforehand so i could've gone and searched for it during the hour and a half i had to sit there and wait.
The cleaning supplies section is way too small for that size of store. The variety of collars and leashes is nearly half of what it was a couple of years ago. Food and treat selection is great. I'm happy to see American made brands and less processed foods. Rewards are only worth it if you make purchases regularly. Needs better selection on non food items but overall pretty decent store.
Great people working there get everything we need toy wise for our dog. And treats as well.
I just wanted to share my recent experience at Rockford's Petsmart, especially when it comes to the grooming department. They are not professional and are more interested in servicing as many clients as possible, as well as adding additional fees for no reason. I used to take my dog to this location where they treat you like a number, instead of a loyal customer, and charge you for your dog being "difficult." And by "difficult" they mean he likes to sit down while being groomed. Not to mention, the staff was not always welcoming and seemed to be more interested in grooming as many dogs as possible, rather than focusing on clients. I did contact the corporate office and was referred to the grooming department manager who was more interested in making excuses than holding their employees accountable. I will not return. I am now a proud Petco customer.
Great store with many of the hard to find pet items. People are friendly and courteous. And they offer pet grooming and training.
It's definitely a clean store and dog friendly with a caveat. Just because your dog is well-behaved doesn't mean that others have a clue. When I visited, it was a free-for-all with a wild poodle challenging his owner and a little wiener dog growling at everyone. Good place to take your dog if you want to make sure they can handle chaos. Didn't have the brand of dog food that I wanted, but the treat selection was excellent, and my little pomsky appeared approving. Staff working was kind and helpful.
Friendly atmosphere. Prices are right because you get what you pay for : if your looking for cheaper dollar tree have something I'm sure. But there's quality here and help where you need it , if you need it : They also didn't follow me around or bother me l, Wich some might find extremely comfortable: they let me pet their training dog and he was VERY attentive : Good staff as well.
Their customer service it's always so nice. But the classes train your dog is really a joke. And I give them 5 stars for their grooming department they are outstanding and wonderful with the animals
