Had a great shopping experience today at PetSmart. Everyone is always so friendly whenever I come in and they greet you especially today when I walked in this guy Ravi was super friendly and courteous and was trying to help another customer and asked if wouldn’t mind waiting. He was just so polite. I highly recommend this store as I e been coming for years but didn’t think to write a review until today when I was like wow man this guy was super friendly folded up my receipt and handed to me and asked if I wanted a bag for this one item which I was like I’m good. Thank you. People really can help me hurt a business and Ravi and the others I’ve met definitely elevate PetSmart Wheaton location!

I recently took back "residential custody" of my beloved 11 year old cat Timid "Timmy" Toes from my ex-husband who wasn't taking every good care of him. He was buying the cheapest cat food possible, and Timmy would always vomit every day and all over the house. So I wanted to get real healthy wet and dry food for him. The gentleman working helped me out so much. I believe his name was Ed. He asked me more questions than the veterinarian about Timmy's health, habits, etc!! He spent at least 20 minutes with me, and we picked out Pro Plan Complete Essentials for Timid. Timmy hasn't even vomited once since I bought it 3 weeks ago, and he absolutely loves the wet food so much! I will always go to this PetSmart from now on. The price of the wet food is almost $1 cheaper per can than Petco too!
Very nice, well stocked store and the staff is very professional and friendly. We bought our first Guinea pig here along with all the things needed and Peter told us everything there is to know about Guinea pigs. He was super helpful and very knowledgeable in answering all our questions. So glad he was the one helping us. Very kind and professional young man. I Highly recommend this store.
This store may be “well stocked” but that doesn’t excuse the complete ignorance of the employees. They have multiple bearded dragons in one enclosure, which wouldn’t typically be too much an issue except one of the babies is aggressive with the others, like full on chasing after & chewing on the other tank mates. But what is anyone doing about it? Absolutely nothing, because like every big chain store like this, all they care about it their money. It’s disgusting. *video proof unavailable because google unfortunately only allows photos*
Worst groom she has ever had. My dog left bruised and with uneven hair. Some areas were down to the skin. Her paws were not done and nails not done. Hair on her head was uneven and had random long pieces left. Tried to charge me $40 extra for extra time needed when I was quoted 3-4 hours. I picked her up at 2 hours after seeing how she was being treated. She left shaking and terrified.
One in there today to grab bearded dragon's food and employees didn't seem to care about the bigger bearded dragon in the cage eating the little 1. I have video of him going after the little one biting and trying to attack him. There is damage on the little one's tail and employee just said that that's what animals do. Just call the manager. She said she'll separate them so hopefully.
A good place to pick up some of the basics. It always is clean and easy to check out.
I called grooming looking for an appointment to get my cat’s nails cut after our usual location is fully booked. I was told they do walk ups only but was NOT told that they close earlier than the hours listed online. I headed over to Wheaton 30 minute drive right when I logged off work just to find out they closed at 5 so I wasted an hour of my time for nothing. This is why you do appointments!
This location has an AMAZING Team of GROOMERS! Staff in retail store is terrific too!
