Amazing experience, brings back memories as I have been coming here since I was a little kid. The hotel is very clean and beautiful! Staff is super friendly as well. The pool is on another level of pretty! Will 100% be back again.Rooms: 5/5
I must say that I have never in my 40 years experienced such an amazing customer service until I met Chris. He was beyond wonderful and made my husband and I feel comfortable as soon as we walked in. I am lost for words and never thought that there was people in the world that was so amazing the way Chris was. Good job Chris and because of you we will be definitely e visiting again. Thanks to you my Birthday turned out AMAZING!!!!!!!
Absolutely lovely, prestigious resort located in one of the nicest towns of FL! This resort has everything to offer. The pool, as well as the property, is absolutely gorgeous. They offer many spa services as well as men's haircuts and grooming. Casual and fine dining are also offered inside. From the moment I arrived, the outside gentlemen greeted me with smiles and quickly got another co-worker to take my luggage to my room. The staff is incredibly friendly and very helpful. Brittani & Melissa at The Market made me delicious cups of lattes each morning. Mihai was always so helpful & friendly. His precious stories resonated with my heritage. Chris Gordon, Nick, and Brooke are true Front Desk Superstars! Thank you, Snap Partners & the employees at PGA Resort for creating fabulous memories for myself and our teams! I appreciate you all!
My stay at the PGA Nashville Resort was a very nice one. I was there for a convention and the staff at the hotel was very friendly and very accommodating. One of the things that I really enjoyed about staying at the PGA National Resort is that they have a shuttle service that takes you to anywhere that you want to go in the area within I believe a 10 to 15 minutes radius. The pool at the resort was very welcoming and allowed nonswimmers to be able to enjoy any part of it, since it was not deeper than 5 feet. I would definitely return to this hotel.
Hotel is retro themed. Room was clean. Beautiful grounds and scenery. However, I was ignored by valet when checking in and had to ask for valet service. They offer a package which includes free valet which is nice but tag on 20% gratuity to every check along with resort fee and service fees so I didn't feel I really got a deal.Rooms: 4/5
Nice but not worth the price. It’s missing a lot of room amenities found in cheaper hotels no welcome brochure/guide map, makeup mirror, microwave, etc. Room setup is also impractical. Mini fridge gets stuck on one of the cabinets when you close it. And you can’t see the TV from the seating area due to a giant wardrobe. Love the retro design though, and the bathroom is especially impressive. Not sure if this a recent renovation or an outdated style since retro maximalism is coming back lol The third floor ice room is terrifying with a bashed-in door knob, horrid smell, and hot air blasting out of it. No vending machines for snacks or drinks after hours the food/drink vendor closes in the early evening Not sure if they were just having a bad day but the front service desk wasn’t very helpful. They just give you your key and send you on your way without providing any info about the resort; parking, restaurants, shops, or any included amenities. Just expected more from an upscale resort. The front entrance bar provided the same mediocre service which was disappointing. It was clearly understaffed and bartenders were stressed, so I blame the management, not the workers. At least there’s a pretty view from the resort if you go out exploring, so it is a great location. Edit: I had a minor billing issue that was solved immediately which I greatly appreciated. So I bumped the service up to 4 stars.
Nice place to stay! Chris was very accommodating and friendly at check in, not only did he allow for us to check in a little early, but also gave us an upgrade: Poolside service was amazing! Suleyman and Justin were great! Suleyman was constantly navigating the pool to make sure our orders were taken and fulfilled. His suggestion to order the steak sandwich was on point, it was delicious! Quiet, relaxing atmosphere, nice getaway. Rooms: Rooms are pretty, beds were beautiful and comfortable. My room had a small fridge which was convenient.
The hotel is very nice, pool area is great. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Our stay included late check out but we got locked out of our rooms at regular check out time and I had to go ask to get it fixed. Our stay also included a daily breakfast for two but we were charged for it and a food and beverage credit that was not applied. I had to reach out to have the issue corrected rather than it being right from the start.
I visited the spa with my husband. We spent 4 hours there and it wasn't enough time. Wish we would have gotten there first thing in the morning to stay until they close at 5. It was that good and that nice. The massage was one of the best I've ever had. I will say I didn't appreciate how hard the masseuse tried to upsell me on upgrading my massage just before we began. I had to tell her no three times and it was uncomfortable. Then after the massage was completed she tried to get me to buy products again in the gift shop. The push was just a little too strong. Other than that we had a beautiful day at the mineral pools and lounge area. I will definitely be back!
The Spa was amazing--would definitely recommend and go again! Jessica L was a wonderful masseuse; very attentive to my requests and comfort levels, and had the perfect balance of working the knots out while also making the whole experience very soothing and relaxing. The Spa pools are also a must visit; quiet, relaxing, and have the perfect amount of shade and sun, both in the water and out. Worth every dollar.
