About

ThePGH Equality Center has been Pittsburgh's LGBTQ+ Community Center since 1982. We are an all volunteer organization located in downtown Pgh.

Description

The Pittsburgh Equality Center of Pittsburgh (GLCC) provides gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender and queer/questioning (LGBTQ) individuals, their families, and supporters in Western Pennsylvania, with resources and opportunities to promote visibility, understanding and equality within the LGBTQ+ communities and the community at large. Best place to go for assistance for the LGBT community!
Very friendly and helpful staff and volunteers. Their library is large and they are welcoming. Their website is not up to date. They are only open 12-6 Mon-Fri and not open on the weekends. They do have a Friday night hang out for teens most Fridays from 6-9pm.
Worked with them as far back as my Pegasus days. They do great work within our community and continue to. Glitter kisses mwhaa
What a special place to so many. Its hard while writing this not to get tearful eye over some of the things this place has done for me n others.
The last time i was there the staff was rude besides that it was great doing art there

Has helped me out a lot with everything in my life.
I don't know why they keep changing locations.
Felt very honest and accepting
