I was in Agoura Hills this week visiting family and came across Phantom Electronics. I’ve been considering replacing the radio in my 2006 Tundra for a long time and decided to stop in this store to get advice. What a great decision this was! Howard, the owner of this business, took the time out of his busy schedule to discuss options with me. We decided on a new Kenwood touchscreen radio with numerous features. Howard was able to work my vehicle in the next day after I explained I had to travel back to New Mexico on Saturday. Phantom Electronics did an excellent install at a reasonable price. What impressed me was that the owner personally took time to go over the operation of the radio and all of its features after it was installed. The professionalism and friendless of staff at Phantom Electronics is superb! I will be back at a later date to have a backup camera installed in my 2006 Tundra and another radio in my 2000 Tacoma. I highly recommend Phantom Electronics!
I had CarPlay/Android auto installed into my existing stereo on two different cars and very happy with the result. High quality products and very knowledgeable.
These guys did an amazing job on my truck. Next I'm going back to do my car! Sweet!! Update: I just got the car done and this thing rocks!! I kept the factory head and added a DSP, all new speakers, a power amplifier and subwoofer in the trunk. As with the truck, they did sound deadening in the doors and where needed. In both cases, the quality of work was excellent as was the final result. I am fairly picky about things and am happy to say I found nothing to complain about. I can only say good things here. I spent a fair amount of both systems but feel like I got every penny's worth! The sound is so clear at any volume level, with no rattles. I will probably drive these vehicles until the wheels falls off, and then I will come back here and do the next vehicle! Highly recommended!!
A friend of mine found Phantom Electronics, hailed as one of the best audio installers in SoCal. I drove him out to Thousand Oaks to pick up his car, and he couldn't stop talking about how much better Phantom was than the 3 other places he went to he had also gave me a free brand new 10" JLAudio sub, provided I actually use it. Long story short, instead of having Phantom install the sub in my current car, I simply decided to go out and purchase a new car...and then get the sub installed. Which is exactly what I did. Howard is phenomenal and his employees did great work. They worked with me to get me exactly what I wanted within the budget I layed out. When I decide to upgrade to a 15" and it's equivalent amplifier in the future, there's no doubt in my mind I'm going to Phantom. Check out where they put my bass knob...

The owner is super helpful even when I only needed his help finding out what wire harnesses I needed.. not only did he guide me in the right direction, he had all the parts in stock for my 2012 Toyota Camry so I ended up buying everything from him; made my stereo install a breeze when I felt it was a huge hassle.
I am really happy with the way things turned out and sound, the folks here are super easy to work with they know their stuff, lots of experience and a blast to talk with. They put in extra thought and little extra touches that really made a huge difference in the end result. Highly recommend especially because this is a local biz of 40+ yrs not a big corporate box store, support local!!
Howard was honest with what my pricing expectations, timeline, and result would be like. Most importantly, he listened to what I was looking for and worked to match my vision.
