Our two day stay at this KOA was a good experience. The office staff were very kind and accomodating, even placing us in a different site than initially planned and not charging us for the larger space when we had a problem that caused us to not be able to unhook our trailer. The campground is conveniently located in a quiet area and is only 5 miles from restaurants and shopping in New Jersey and about 18 miles from historical sites in Philadelphia. The only downside that I noticed was that the sites are VERY close together. However, the positives far outweigh that one negative. There's a good play area for kids and also a pool. If you have canine fur babies, there's a spacious doggy park. The bath/shower rooms were very well-kept. There are two laundry rooms but--like all laundry facilities--there just aren't enough machines for the number of folks who need them. The good part, though, is that they're open 24 hours so if you're creative with your schedule, you shouldn't have a problem getting your clothes clean.
Fantastic location. A great place to stop after a midnight run through the Pennsylvania turnpike. Clean bathrooms. Cute campground with just the right amount of trees and foliage so as not to seem like an RV parking lot. But close enough to all the urban city stuff while still remaining quiet. Next to no noise from highway traffic over night. Well worth a revisit. Decent sized lots. Plus dog park! Yay. Owners are very helpful and provided us a late check in from the road! Top notch. Thank you
The campground was decent, relatively clean and good amenities. The staff were incredibly rude, both in the office and the ones that rode around in their golf carts. If you plan on 0 interaction with anyone, it’s a nice campground. But do not come here if you expect to use any of the amenities or interact with staff.
What a fantastic little campground! So clean, nice playground, campsite was fantastic with a cement patio and fire ring and a huge dog park. The staff was accommodating with putting us right next to my parents who were staying in a cabin. We had a great family getaway!
My wife and I stayed here this week. We came to town to see the Rammstein concert in Philadelphia. We were running late as we had to drive 500+ miles to get there., We called and the were super courteous over the phone. While the actual site may have been small for people in those giant tour bus size RV's. We had more than enough room.our site had 50/30/20amp hook up., But what amazed us was the coaxial hook up, water, and sewer hookups at all the sites. They have a laundry room, camp store, whirlpool and nice swimming pool. Along with a nice rec room. We checked into the office the next morning, and the woman behind the counter was extremely nice and made us feel like we belong there. She answered all of our questions, and supplied a wealth of knowledge about the area. She also helped me feel better talking about her dogs, I had to leave my pup in Columbus for this trip. Bottom line is I wish all campgrounds were like this! And all campground employees were this polite and personable.
We have a 20-ft Air Stream BaseCamp and stayed here for 3 days now - our experience of this campground was exceptional! All the staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful, especially a huge 'Shout Out' to Alicia and Theresa. Theresa helped us on making changes on our reservation before we arrived. We are planning to stay for 2 months and she was able to secure us in only 2 sites within such a long period of time. And I have to say Alicia 'rocks'! She is very knowledgable, super friendly, nice and helpful. She is the Go-to person in the office. She is awesome! I asked to borrow an outdoor broom, she called maintenance and had it delivered to my site! How nice was that!!! : As for the campground, it is very clean and I love that they have gravels and grass. We have stayed at a few other KOAs and most of them have dirt ground. I am grateful that I don't have to wipe my dog's paws every time he climbs back in the trailer. The site maybe a little small if you have a bigger rig. As for us, it is perfect. I see a lot of guys maintaining the campground. I think they are doing a great job! Bathroom/Shower is clean and water pressure of the shower is great. There is No negative experience for us and I am very happy that we found this campground.
I always take bad reviews with a grain of salt when the complaints are about service.. I believe a wise man said” Matthew 7:12: “In everything, do to others what you would have them do to you. . . .” I was friendly and courteous to the staff and appreciative of their efforts and wow guess what? The staff was friendly and very helpful! Nice place super clean and it was very close to my destinations. Thanks to all!
Was only there one night, but it was clean and quiet. A little pricey but we gave no notice and they had a spot for us. I'd Def stay there again and would recommend to my people.
Main issue is our electric box socket was upside down which is extremely dangerous. But overall typical KOA campground with big K9 park for the dogs. Front staff lady was a lot to handle, seemed always a little flustered and frustrated. Close to Philly so rates are overpriced. Good Verizon service.
This KOA is A OK for New Jersey. Very nice experience, clean and generally quiet. Being that it was fall I had to endure a gas-powered leaf blower for most of a day while working in the RV. The wi-fi is horrible but they will let you know that when you check-in. The 5G cell service was wacky. 4G was better on T-Mobile. If we pass this way would definitely like to stay at this KOA.
