Pho Cao

This has been our GO TO spot for the last 8 years. Have never been disappointed or let down in any way. The food is 10/10 all the time and authentic Vietnamese cuisine. I highly recommend to stop here for not only the food but the atmosphere and late night live music. As long as I live in Arizona No matter the distance this is the only Pho place I will go to, I won't settle for anything but my Pho Cao . The owner is extremely friendly and accommodating and the staff is just as well. I love this place hands down

Awesome Phò! I walked in and it was dark. Then i heard a kids voice… and i was like, um. Why is there a kid in the bar? I forgot it was a restaurant. Look like this used to be a bar, and it may turn into a bar a night. But the food and service was awesome! I will be returning.Food: 5/5

Average Pho, bad weak thai tea, good shrimp/pork spring rolls and live music. Broth was lacking flavor. I ordered my steak on the side so that it would be rare and I could dunk it in myself. Bartender/server did great delivering that. Good service and no items missed/forgotten from bartender. we were the only one of two tables in the place at 8:45PM mid-week and there was a solo guitarist on stage. Don’t order the boba because the Thai tea is super weak and they don’t serve milk tea or other alternatives to go w the boba.

Pho Cao really blew away expectations. Right off the bat the exterior looked sketchy, and the main entrance looked more like sneaking in the back of a peepshow not that I have never done that. Once inside it really just looks like an average neighborhood dive bar. And I guess in many ways it IS a local neighborhood dive bar, that has live music, and also happens to be a really good Pho restaurant! Service was great, prices were pleasingly low for the area, and portions were almost comically large. Overall this was a great experience that I probably wouldn't have tried judging from the outside alone, but the live music aspect was tempting enough. Now I'll absolutely go back for the food as well.

I have driven by this restaurant/bar so many times and finally went in to eat! I didn’t realize it was a restaurant and bar with live music too!! We sat in the bar area in a booth and the bartender, Dasha ended up being our server and she was amazing! She greeted us right away and was so nice and had great energy. She was managing the bar patrons and us perfectly and provided excellent customer service. We also got to enjoy the live music which was just starting when we got our food.. the Pho was so good and the options to choose from were great. I highly recommend coming here for the food and the vibe all around.

The servers are very hit or miss. I had one that only took my friends order and then walked away. Luckily we got someone else to finish. The other gentleman was nice and lady were both at least nice but neither split the check as asked. I was also irritated the other gentleman suggested the desert to me only for them to be out. The food was great though! Loved loved the fish appetizers I got as well as my pineapple curry and my pineapple fried rice that came in a pineapple lol. It's a very busy atmosphere because they have live music and it gets kinda loud in there. I feel like since they have live music the seating is kinda limited.

This place is a neighborhood staple! Last time I was here it was a Thursday and it was karaoke night. Every time I pop in something different is happening, from a live band with band members ranging in age from about 17 to about 70, to a birthday party, to a bright afternoon with nobody else dining in but me. And the decor around the stage is so eclectic. This would be a great dive bar off the beaten path for a group of people to check out. The staff has been kind and on point every time I’ve dined in, which has probably been about 5 visits in person and 2-3 carry out orders. I have only tried the Vegan Pho and clearly I enjoy it! Love a good Vegan Pho option and theirs is packed with big vegetable bites and tofu so it’s super heart warming.

Love coming here for karaoke thursday but i was shocked as a white woman decided to sing Andoconda and proceeded to say the N word and there was no reaction from the crowd and then cheered her on.Food: 5/5
