Creating a healthier community through education, collaboration, and outreach
The Piedmont Community Health Coalition was formed in the summer of 2012 by several interested local agencies. The coalition took on the goal to promote the, "Healthy Eating, Active Living" (H.E.A.L), Philosophy in Prince Edward and the surrounding counties. The coalition now serves the counties of Amelia, Buckingham, Charlotte, Cumberland, Lunenburg, Nottoway, and Prince Edward. The Piedmont Community Health Coalition holds community events that promote healthy lifestyles and help get the community involved with health resources.
