I went in maybe 10 minutes before closing time on a Sunday, I try not to do things like that. Much to my surprise I wasn't treated any different than if I was the first patient of the day. I was there to have 20 stitches removed, painful experience but they were definitely compassionate and professional. The kind lady that removed them even came back into the room after to check on me and apologize for any pain she caused. I was floored. I highly recommend this Urgent Care! Compassion and Professionalism in the same place is hard to find!
Every experience I've had with PHC Urgent Care has been exceptional. I've been in twice during covid with my 86 year old mother. We've been taken back within minutes. They are good listeners, good at recognizing the real problem, have all the diagnostic equipment needed, and keep things moving. No long waits, and excellent caregivers.
Dr Paul Leonard, has a great beside manner. He talks to you like you are a PATIENT, instead of just typing on a computer and not listening, like many other doctors do. A great physician in all rights, and a true asset to our community. He truly understands and sympathizes, and after talking with him, alot of my stress and worry go away. It's very refreshing Thank you for helping me once again
If I could rate zero stars I would. HORRIBLE place. Spent nearly $200 for a doctor to come in, look at my husband and say "food poisoning" before even doing an exam. Showed them photos of the issue he was having, they said eh that's not alot. Here we are at the ER, doctor said the blood was SEVERE and he's now admitted overnight with a GI bleeding.
Came here 6-17 to be seen after I was sick for 3 days with very high fevers, body aches,chills,cough and a very bad pain in my left lung. So they done a COVID and flu test. After the Dr walks in the first thing she says is your COVID and flu test isn't back yet. Ok. So she continues her checkup, checks my ears and says, your right one has infection and your left one is starting to get infected. So that's what's going on. So we don't have to wait on your test results to come back, since I already have to prescribe you antibiotics. LONG story short I sorda knew it wasn't ear infection, my ears didn't even hurt. So I picked up my antibiotics. I believe I ended up only taking 3 maybe. But my symptoms wasnt getting any better only worse alot worse, so I ended up at the ER 6/19. I have SEPSIS and PNEUMONIA. Oh yeah and my ears WERENT infected. Beware of this place!!!!!
I am so very thankful for the promptness I received this morning! There was a little delay with my insurance but it was resolved in a short time and my daughter was diagnosed with strep and meds sent in by 8:30am. Thank you all so very much! She is already feeling better!
It is rare I leave a review. I am one of the people that believe a business should already have strong standards and care about their customers. That said, in the case of Piedmont Health Care Urgent Care, Dr. Kimball and his entire Urgent Care it suffices to say are truly unequaled. The level of care is absolutely exceptional. The team at DR. Kimballs Urgent Care is precisely that, an incredible team and it shows. From the genuine smiles on their faces to the sincere humanity that flows from each of their team, the personal touch that Dr. Kimball demonstrates himself as he leads by example. What separates Dr. Kimball's Urgent Care from all the others is the clear warmth and interaction between himself and his team. I am convinced they genuinely care for each other, and their team actually adores working together along with the great respect they have for their positions and each other. I for one am proud to be their patient and I also feel like a part of their family. Thank you, Dr. Kimball, for creating such a positive environment and experience.

My son was seen on Friday had a high temp and other symptoms. Had a 20 dollar copay. On Sunday symptoms had gotten worse and was told they don't take my insurance and it would cost 175. How can a medical place turn away a sick child
I brought my mother, Mabel C. Chilton, to the Statesville Urgent Care on Monday. February 6, 2023. Kelly Moss and all of the staff were so kind and caring. Mom had a terrible UTI. Mom and I can't thank Kelly Moss and the staff enough. You all were outstanding and so very kind. Thank you all so very much. Beth Chilton-McCollum
