Small Family Campground, 67 sites two full hookups. They also have pickleball tennis courts volleyball and trails, as in bike trails. Very well managed very clean and neat. They also have equipment that you can check out and use for free while you're visiting the park.
The only obstacle we had at the campground was the high winds, which is out of everyone's control. We camped season opening day- tent site. Most of those sites along with the cabins are river overlook see campground map.The tent sites come with a fire pit and a picnic table. There is a bike path along the river, which I believe was 1.4 miles. We would definitely come back here again, but during the warmer months. This time of year may be okay if you have a travel traveler or motorhome. Playground: At least 2 playground areas Restrooms: Very clean restrooms. They have both single stall non-flush toilets in their own seperate structure. The larger building has a combination of both flush toilets and hot water showers.
We are the camp hosts for the 2023 summer. We just had homestead days. The rain stopped for the 3 hours to enjoy the festivities Playground: Nice equipment for the playground Restrooms: The restrooms are continually cleaned and if anything is needed they are right on the spot Dog-friendliness: Dogs have two our selves Keep them on leashes and grab a potty bag by the firewood enclosure Picnic area: Many different areas to have a picnic within the park but away from campers
Family friendly Restrooms: Very clean
I was in one of the only campsites that only had shade in early morning and late evening. Crews were doing alot of tree pruning. Free showers. Water was not as accessible as I would have liked.
Pierson Ranch Recreation area is a nice SD park that offers camping, trails, picnic shelters, restrooms, ball field, and tennis courts. Great place for family time.
Very nice place to camp with the RV with electrical hook up. Water fill & waste station nearby. Nice area and places to fish within walking distance. Places for the kids to play & basketball court.
Disc golf was simple and nice but if people were using the park make unsafe for them
A nice wooded campsite with very clean facilities and spacious camping sites. However, if you are looking for a picturesque view of the Lewis and Clark lake, perhaps try the campsites to the west of the dam!
Late night party went on till Past Midnight but otherwise nice and clean
