Pima Heart

No receptionist, they appear to be squatting in the back of a family practice. I inquired at the dental window and was told to sign in at the rolling cart. I signed in and waited, and waited, and waited. After an hour an 15 minutes I asked, at the family care window, about how much longer it would take. A few minutes later someone came out and informed me I was not on their list of patients. So, they took my sign-in slip, didn't recognized me as a patient, and just let me sit in their 80 degree waiting room. These clowns have no business being in business. Avoid at all costs, see the list of other reviews, none good.

Very frustrating experience. On my wife's first scheduled visit, she was informed that there would be a 2 hour delay becausee the doctor was in emergency surgery. She rescheduled for the next month. On my wife's arrival at the office in Sierra Vista for her second appointment, she was told that the doctor would not be in at all. No prior call notifying her of this. Not good. Found another vascular surgeon in Tucson.

If I could give them NO stars I would! Environment was unprofessional, staff acted as if you were in a revolving door. Receptionist answered her personal phone when checking me out. Then said I thought you were an established patient. Was my first and last visit. Was suppose to get a call about further testing once they got back to Tucson office. Never got a call. Attempted to call them 3 times and could never get through the line. I ended up finding a new provider and thankful I did! Got the bill for my one visit and attempted to pay it online. Their system wouldn’t even load the debit/credit card section to pay the bill. Lol I recommend going anywhere else but here! Not worth your life when you cannot even get ahold of a staff member or appointments.

Several people just left. One gentleman had an appointment at 9:30am. He was here for an hour. Very little info passed to patients as this is a shared doctors office. We just learned the Dr. isn’t here yet and the “computers are down”. At least four people cancelled and rescheduled. Unfortunately, my schedule is packed, so I am staying. Shoulda went to tucson. Although I like Dr. Gheewala and was treated well and quickly at the Tucson offices, it seems this shared location is simply not adequate for consistency/ continuity of care. Several folks in the waiting room said this happens often and they rarely, if ever, get to see Dr. Gheewala and instead see NPs. Although having cardio care here in SV is awesome, you may want to travel the Tucson distance to make sure you get timely care.

The WORST Dr.office I have Ever been to. Takes twice as long as it would to make an appointment in Tucson, front desk lady is not helpful or nice at all, and TWICE I’ve showed up for an appointment for them to tell me ‘sorry they’re not here I guess’ and that I’m SOL . Ridiculous. *Update I have made 5 appointments in the last 8 months with Pima Heart and Vascular, the Doctor has been able to make a grand total of 1 of them. Cancelled the majority of them days or a day before the appointment. Appointments THEY schedule to their convenience, 2-3 months out, and he’s been their ONCE. Worst heart and vascular I’ve ever been to in my life.

Doctors and nurses are too notch, but the admin and scheduling staff are horrible. Wrong lab orders, unsigned orders, they've made appointments and not notified me, etc, etc, etc. And this is just in a 2 week period.

Sierra Vista office run poorly. 3 separate physician groups Cards, Dental, PCP share space. Waiting room SRO. NO social distancing. No sanitizer, soap or sinks in exam rooms. EKG done sitting in chair-big NO NO. I'm an RN>30yrs was shocked at this place. My advice Stay Away.

Worst service ever. They are based out of Tucson, you cannot reach anyone ever. Try calling them, you have to jump through too many hoops with recordings. If you need a refill plan on taking up to a week of constant calling to reach a live person. I just don't trust them nor do I have any confidence in them. I am leaving them and going with Dr. Elliott in Sierra Vista.

I waited two hours to see a doctor--my first appointment after pacemaker surgery. I needed information and a prescription refill. A nurse ? asked me questions and gave me what I believed was an EKG, and then a nurse practitioner sent me home. This bit of help kept me waiting off and on for two full hours.

Nothing like signing in early for a test, waiting for an hour and when I finally call their number I'm told the machine is broken. No phone call, no notification, nothing. When I ask to speak to a manager, they don't pick up the call. Never been treated so badly and they don't care anyway This is the Sierra Vista office and Main Tucson number . Shame on you.
