Pine Beach Lodge

Description

Pine Beach Lodge is a good place to fish and relax! We are proud to say that the Owner's of Pine Beach Lodge have not changed in over 40 years, and neither have many of the guests! Years of friendships, memories and stories have been created at Pine Beach and we welcome you to share in them.

It is a tradition at Pine Beach for your photo to be taken and then featured in the yearly photo album. For many years Helen has captured the memories and smiles of friends and families as they display their catch. In the main lodge you will find albums that date back to 1969, the year that Dick and Helen Johnson purchased the camp! In adding to this tradition, you may now share your photos on our facebook wall!

PBL is an awesome lodge to have a spectacular time fishing, boating, and relaxing on Eagle Lake. Rick and Allie really make everything easy and fun. Food was excellent, and service was outstanding! We'll be back!Rooms: 4/5
Allie and Rick, We all want to say another thank you for your amazing hospitality Jeff, Ray, Mark and I have had many Canada fishing experiences. YOU ROCKED IT ONCE AGAIN ! The entire stay was perfect. The cabin was clean and setup. The FOOD! Great breakfasts. Easy and complete shore lunches. Even when we forgot the propane you made us a great fish fry without notice at your new BBQ pavilion. Then the delicious dinners... turkey feast night, rib night, NY strip steak dinner and to top it off the roast beef with mashed and carrots. Gail's fabulous breakfasts, deserts and super service were very appreciated. The fishing experience could not have been better. The boats were nice Lund's setup with good storage and live wells. The 4 stroke 40 HP Yamaha motors, worked well for trolling and ran quietly without any issues all week. You included the gas so we didn't have any unexpected expense. Conner at the dock made our life easy. He did all the work. Tied us up when we came in from fishing. Took care of our catch. Cleaned a ton of fish, set us up with bait, shore lunch kits and gasoline. He never stopped. Very impressive young man. We caught around 300 fish. Musky, multiple trophy walleyes, northerns and even a few smallies. We brought home our limit and will have a fish fry in the next couple weeks. Planning for next year's trip and already can't wait Please say thanks to Conner, and Gail. Your smiles and upbeat attitudes are truly amazing. It's not easy to run Pine Beach Lodge but you both have mastered it. Thanks from Jeff Schreiber, Ray Lee, Mark Feldman and Chuck Feldman. 6/12/2023 Nearby activities: Eagle Lake
My first trip fishing in Canada but friend with many on this amazing lake. Equipment great. Helpful and knowledgeable owners. Well stocked kitchen. No TV but we didn't care. Wifi slow but cell good at cabins.Rooms: 4/5
Been there 4 time's. Loved it.this year I caught some of biggest fish ever.. Rick and Allie who own it and run it are the best people you ever want to meet. They do everything in their power to make you feel welcome and make your trip a memorable one.Rooms: 5/5
I have been going to Pine Beach Lodge almost every year since 2007. Helen was the best and she guided Rick and Allie to follow in her footsteps. I absolutely love visiting the whole group. Wonderful people that always make your trip perfect. Fishing has always been exceptional. I have caught a 29" walleye, 40" Northern, and even caught my first muskie while staying at Pine Beach Lodge. Highly recommend staying at Pine Beach!
My father and his buddies first started coming to this resort in the early 1970's. Back then Helen was in her prime and was always friendly with my father and his friends. My first trip here with my dad was 1988 and we stayed here one last time in 2003. Helen was alive and well at that point in time and was as spry as ever. The fishing is always great and the people are super friendly. Have not been back since Helen passed but i hear her family has taken over since then. I'll try to get back there once covid is a thing of the past. Rip Helen.
After my first trip North of our US border in 1964 I've been back to hunt and fish these pure, majestic, and magical lands of Western Ontario Canada. I've made many true Canadian friends, from showing respect to their homelands. Stayed in many camps and then sometimes, no camps over my 58 years of travels and explorations to seek out new and challenging adventures. I so love one of the most beautiful lakes in western Ontairo, if not the all of Canada. Eagle Lake. I had fished Eagle before out of a camp in Myers Bay, and I'll leave it at that. One year it just so happened that I was able to get in a last minute cabin in Late August at Pine Beach Lodge. Have never met camp owners that were more Truly Dedicated to making your Canadian experience the best you've ever had. The young owners have taken the responsibility to carry on what their family had started. This quality of caring and respect for everyone of their guests, that come and stay with them at Pine Beach Lodge From the amazing and creative food that comes from the warm and inviting kitchen, to always attentive, safety minded and gracious dock crew. Always eager to take your catch, clean and wrap them ready for the Freezer. Not to mention one of the best Big Walleye Spots in all of Eagle Lake, one minute from the dock. I could throw a rock and hit a 32" in noggin.! And again Big Muskie spots all over Portage Bay, with its deep and clearer waters that attract so many kinds of bait. You find the bait balls and you'll find the Big Muskie on top and Big Lakers bellow. Yes, you don't have to take that day trip all the way into the West Arm. But with the big motors on boats nowadays its not a day trip, and I highly recommend taking that trip to the Clearest and Deepest section of Eagle Lake. Some of the absolute biggest Muskies I've ever seen were in this section of the lake. Giant Lakers live Here.! That should be a sign. And an untouched Smallmouth population ready for that savi angler's to test his-her's skills. All in All, The Bottom Line, The End of the Road,,,,,, Rick and Allie are two of the best people that I've met in my life. From Gracious and Kind to Caring and Warm to Absolutely HIlarious and Fun. Just Go. Then post your own 5Review. Miss and Love You Both, UnclePete
I stayed at the Pine Beach Lodge with 2 buddies. We brought our own boat and cooked our own meals. The attentiveness of the dock attendant, cleaning/packing of the fish, and overall friendliness of all the staff and other fishermen made this very enjoyable. Did I forget to mention that the fishing was outstanding? Caught my first Musky. Caught lots of Walleye. It was a great trip and I will be back. Thanks!
There isn’t a single negative thing that I can say about our experience at Pine Beach Lodge. The food, hospitality, boats and just overall demeanour of the owners and staff were absolutely incredible. I would personally like to thank Rick, Allie, Gail and Bram for the exceptional service and warm hospitality. I would highly recommend this lodge to anyone.
Just got back from a fabulous five days of fishing. Rick and Allie and the staff are wonderful folks and take really good care of you. The food was great the accommodations were great, Booked next year already!
