This is our first year at the campground and we absolutely love it! The grounds are clean and well maintained. There are activities planned each weekend if you desire to participate or just soak up a restful retreat at your campsite! Lord willing, we will be looking forward to enjoying many years at our little home away from home at Pine Cove Campground! Playground: Grandkids enjoyed the play area Restrooms: Clean Dog-friendliness: Pets are welcome, poo clean up bag stations located along main drive Picnic area: Covered patio area near the pool and shelter
This has long term camping for rv/travel trailers. 30 amp hookup and water. Dump station but the owner also comes around once a week was a beautiful campground was there for their Halloween trick or treat fun. The owner is very nice and tries to keep everything neat and clean. They also have restrooms with paid showers.
This place was a little bit of heaven we were there 13 years but new owners have turned it into a lot of hell !! 10 campers have left and more are not returning next season due to a manager who hates women & kids. Stay away you won’t like it!!!
My band played an outdoor event, and everyone was welcoming and friendly. I wouldn't hesitate to play again if asked.
It's a small community, but we love going and getting away for a bit. Playground: It's a small playground but the kids are welcome to have fun there. Restrooms: Restrooms are clean and well maintained Dog-friendliness: As this campground leases their spots for the summer, you are free to bring your pets as long as they are leashed and controlled. Picnic area: There is a hall that allows gatherings on the property and each spot has its own picnic area. The main hall is again well maintained.
This was our first season at Pine Cove and we loved it! We personally haven't experienced any of the negative things written in some of the reviews. The campground is beautiful and I've always been impressed with the way the owners Julie and Jim seem to remember my family and what's going on in our personal lives even though they sometimes don't see us for weeks at a time. They are always friendly and seem to take a genuine interest in the families at Pine Cove. We will be back next year and hope to have the same experience!
We have been camping at Pine Cove for 5 years now. This campground is family friendly and dog friendly. Me and my husband love coming to this campground. The owners have made a lot of improvements. It is a fun time and the campground is full of beautiful trees. We have made so many friends at the campground and enjoy coming back each year.
If my husband and I didn't live 6 minutes away from the campground, we would definitely lease a spot at Pine Cove! Our friends who live in Cincinnati have their RV at Pine Cove and regularly invite us to hang out there. A few weeks back we were invited to attend a "food and drink crawl." I can't even tell you how much fun we had. Each section of the grounds had their own theme and different food and drinks to go with it. Everyone would spend 45 minutes at one spot and then move on to the next. It was awesome!! Another great event was the carnival. It was mainly kid related, but it was so nice to see everyone come together to create a fun filled event for the kids. They always seem to have great events lined up to engage all the campers, young and old alike. Aside from the events, the grounds are very clean and well kept, everyone is so friendly even to noncampers like myself and my husband, it's a family friendly place that is safe and fun to stay at, and the owner, Jim is such a nice man! He's gone out of his way to talk to my husband and I on every occasion that we've been there. I would definitely recommend Pine Cove to anyone looking for a safe, fun, and relaxed campground!
We have been campers at Pine Cove for the last 5 seasons and I must say that since the new owners took over 4 years ago we have experienced nothing but outstanding hospitality and customer service. They have been prompt to take care of any issues. The changes they have made have not gone unnoticed and as a matter of fact have made the campground more attractive. When we first came to Pine Cove I wouldn't dare enter any of the bathrooms because they were dark and dirty. Not anymore. Yes, we have to register our guests and there is a security gate, however, I feel this is for the safety of our children, grandchildren and we adults as well. We have never experienced anything like the negative comments that have been displayed on this web site. We must all keep in mind that things happen for a reason. The owners must have had theirs for not renewing some of the contracts for 2017. I will say this, I am looking forward to participating in the potlucks and other activities again in 2017 with our family and many friends. If thinking about camping at Pine Cove, have the experience yourself and don't let the opinions of those who are no longer there or may have never been there, sway your decision. They are the minority, not the majority!
Pine Cove Campground is a beautiful, fun, family friendly campground. We've been here 7 years. We call it my husbands "Happy Place", and my granddaughter LOVES it!! The owner's are friendly and keep the facility well maintained. They have fun activities scheduled on weekends throughout the season. We've met some really great people camping at Pine Cove! It's always sad when the season ends, but we always count down the days til spring when the new season starts!
