Time and time again, this veterinarian office continues to surprise me when their absolutely honest care for animals, empathy for pet owners/animals, etc. I always feel like I am good hands with this office. They go above and beyond to make sure everything is done properly, quickly, and communication is SO open. I can literally text any questions and get responses so fast. I trust this place whole heartedly. I highly recommend going here. There's no where else I'd take my babies. Thank you Pine Creek Vet Staff.
We have been going to this clinic since 2020. Had a very disheartening experience yesterday and felt I wasn’t heard by the veterinarian. I cried on the drive home. Not seeking to be confrontational but wanted to be heard. We will be moving clinics because our values don’t seem to align with this particular Dr we had not seen before. I wish we could have seen our previous one I wish I could have had an honest conversation with her without feeling like she had already made up her mind. I genuinely appreciate the care our dogs have had at this clinic up until this appointment.
I can't say enough nice things about this place. Every person in here from the moment you walk in the door to the moment you leave is incredibly friendly and welcoming to not only you, but your dog as well. This place is only concerned about making sure your pet is taken care of. Never have I felt they were trying to get money out of me and in fact every time I have had to pay for my visit i have been shocked at how incredibly low the bill was. I can't recommend this place enough and I am so grateful to have found a place I can bring my babies without any worry about the quality of care my babies are going to receive. I wish there were more places like this. Hands down the best place to bring your dogs.
I never review anything, but I just moved to Colorado Springs and came here to say that this hospital has put me at ease. My old Shiba has multiple chronic conditions, and having worked in veterinary hospitals for years I was really nervous about finding a new vet clinic since I always used to take him to work with me and was always present for his treatment. So far, the veterinary staff doctors, veterinary nurses, and reception are superb. You can tell everyone here loves animals, and I appreciate all of their transparency with pricing and treatment. My pup is getting a dental here in a few months and I trust that he is in good hands. All of the technicians and doctors that have discussed his upcoming procedure or any other treatments he has needed have been so incredibly compassionate. Thank you Pine Creek!
I’ve been coming here for a year, and let me tell ya something. Both my cats and I love this Veterinarian Hospital. Always greeted with kind and care by everyone. The staff treat and handle my cats with such love and care that it feels like they are part of our family. Good vibes, amazing people, and know what they’re doing!!!
The staff and vets at Pine Creek are absolutely incredible! I have an old rescue dog who has a lot of trauma from his previous life and vet visits are always scary and overwhelming for the both of us. Pine Creek makes it so easy and I always leave feeling thankful! They are very patient with Charlie and take their time to not overwhelm him or traumatize him further at appointment. They listen to my advice on how best to handle and approach Charlie and are always considerate and kind to the both of us. I'm immensely thankful to have found a vet who not only provides great medical care, but a vet who truly cares about my dog's well being.
Brought in my dog Jackson. Was never provided any details of test run on him or provided any pricing. Charged for these with out approval. Not only did they do that but they double charged me for the same test. Bundling them and then charging individually. Spoke with vet/owner. She deflected everything. Did not take responsibility. I highly recommend reading through negative reviews. Vet/owner responds with excuses to all of them. No responsibility. Switched vets and on pet records had the audacity to say I was threatening and dishonest. I was trying to care for my pet. While they were double charging and giving my dog cat toothpaste. They say they are family but they didn’t see me come in with a cat, why would you not give me dog toothpaste. Sadly they do not care. Please be hesitant to bring your pet here.
This clinic is run by nice people but, nonetheless, I must find another place to take our animals for care. And that is because of the outrageous prices. Our last two visits have totaled nearly a thousand dollars each, and that was basically just for an exam, some antibiotics and lab work. I have no doubt that the vet is most concerned about the animals, but she is VERY quick to tack on expense after expense with an extreme overabundance of caution and seemingly no thought to the owner's wallet whatsoever. Sticker shock doesn't cover it; I feel like I'm being taken advantage of every time I come here. After this last visit I decided to compare prices with another local vet and they asked for less than HALF of what I was quoted here for the same services. I realize that it may not be that simple to compare, but the difference is so huge I simply can't ignore it.
Pine Creek Vet is hands down the best veterinary hospital I have ever been to. As a long time dog owner, I want to take my little furry friends to a group that cares about each animal, and does not treat them like a number. The staff there is loving, gentle, caring, and extremely knowledgable. I will never take my dogs anywhere else. Do yourself a favor and give them a try. You will not be disappointed.
I really wanted to like this vets office, truly. But my experiences have unfortunately not been able to support that. Positive: clean, very friendly front desk staff. Less positive: my sweet older kitty needed care for a tooth root infection that he developed roughly 8 weeks ago. We scheduled the surgery fairly quickly and did a pre-op exam. The week of surgery I was called that we’d need a urine sample and to please bring my pet in. My little man had a lot of anxiety so it was always super stressful for him but I packed him up and started to drive in; halfway there I received another phone call that they could just get the urine the day of his surgery - so, we go back home. I’d been home 10 minutes before I received another phone call…could I please bring my pet in for a urine test. A little concerned at this point, I said I’d just been told we could do it the day of surgery. The front desk staff had no idea I’d already been called by someone else up front so they had to check and call me back. I was told it was a miscommunication and come in on surgery day. Surgery went well until the tech came in and said „boy, your cat did great for having heart failure!” Super stressed and confused at this point, I was unaware of that condition. The tech remembered it wrong, wrong pet. Heart attack avoided. I was given his post op pain meds and “definitely don’t give them until the afternoon or evening” the following day. Next day, noon-ish, I see the medicine bottle says take in the AM. Confused, I call the vets office and they said “oh sorry, the veterinarian updated the prescription but didn’t notify the tech”. At this point I’m four hours behind on my 14 year old kitties pain meds after having 9 teeth removed because of another miscommunication. I kept saying that my little man wasn’t doing well, not eating, quiet. I did get a kitten so we thought maybe it was the stress of the kitten so, I gave the kitten back after less than a week but his symptoms still didn’t improve. I kept getting scheduled for tech appointments to look at his teeth and then recommended kitty antidepressants. The last time I’d called in again and said something was “off” with my little man. I was again, given a tech appointment and not a veterinarian appointment. Brought little guy in and thought he’d lost some weight but I’d weighed him Incorrectly to make sure I add honest info here. I’d said he was still “off” and was there anyway a vet could take a look at him. Dr Kristie looked at his gums for a quick second and we were sent on our way, even though I was concerned and expressed that multiple times. I know it was her surgery day so I would’ve understood if it wasn’t her but maybe someone else. That night I still felt my boy was sick and took him to the ER. He had a urinary blockage and would require emergency care. 30 minutes later, when the blood work came back I was told he likely had lymphoma and was a really sick kitty and the humane thing to do was to put him to sleep. Absolutely gutted over the sudden loss of my best friend, I called our vet that morning and updated them. Some of the same blood work he had done at the ER was already high/abnormal at the time of his dental surgery. I looked back after his passing and some, but not all abnormal values of the blood work were mentioned but never followed up on to make sure he’d returned to normal. I just wanted a phone call from our vet to help me understand better what went wrong. I never received a call. Incredibly poor communication, poor follow up. Very sad day and just wanted some support from our vet. The outcome may not have changed if he truly had a ticking clock but I sure could’ve spent those last few weeks very differently and would’ve been able to look for warning signs of when he was ready. We could’ve maybe put him on meds to help manage his pain and symptoms during that end stage. He deserved that. Update: autopsy showed kidney failure, liver cancer, and that his brain stem was hemorrhaging. Labs were abnormal before and after his dental procedure.
