Pine Hills Veterinary Hospital.
Pine Hills Veterinary Hospital is located at the corner of Hwy 80 (Cypress Street) and Camp Road in West Monroe. The hospital can provide services for small animals, large animals, and exotics (birds, reptiles, etc). Pine Hills has two veterinarians on staff, as well as 8 full time support staff to provide services for your pets. The hospital has appointments open daily for surgical procedures, boarding, hospitalization, and routine preventative health exams. Our boarding facilities offer options for horses, dogs (both inside kennels and indoor/outdoor kennel runs), cats, and several other species. Clients are welcome to tour our facilities prior to boarding or hospitalizing their pets. Pine Hills also offers mobile large animal services as needed and has an in house large animal hospital.
Pine Hills has an in house diagnostic laboratory, a radiology facility, ultrasound equipment, an in house pharmacy, intensive care cages, and an isolation unit, which enables our staff to fulfill all of your pet's medical needs. Our business hours are 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM Monday- Friday and 8:00AM -12:00 PM on Saturdays. Dr. Jay Warford is from Little Rock, Arkansas and graduated from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, LA with a Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine, Class of 1990. He began his career in Folsom, LA with a special interest in equine reproduction and worked at an equine breeding and veterinary facility for 5 years. He then moved to the West Monroe area and started his Mobile Equine Business. After 6 years, he added the hospital facility at the current location on Cypress Street (Hwy 80).
Dr. Lauren Harper is from Ruston, Lousiana and graduated from Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, California with a Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine, Class of 2008. She enjoys treating all species and has a special interest in exotics. She joined Pine Hills Veterinary Hospital in December of 2012.
