We moved in October 4th, 2019. The Rv park is quite for the most part. The office does keep problems out of the park to keep it family friendly. There are currently working to get the flaws worked out. The rent is a little steep and they currently tack on taxes to the rent. This is the first RV park I have had do this, that I have stayed in The office is very willing to work with you on concerns and things that keep family safe. They recently started stocking the ponds, keep the grass mowed, and ant beds under control. I do however wish there was a pavilion, tables, burn pits, and some play equipment on site. It would also be nice if there was a garage to rent to work on vehicles when needed for residents only and a dock or 2. There is no picnic tables or bbq grills, you will want to bring your own. We are happy with the overall Rv park. And look forward to staying as long as our jobs allow us to stay in the area. Come check it out. I feel you will be pleased. Update 5-19-20 Pine Ridge is slowly adding to the physicality. We are still living on the site and love it here. It is family, everyone watches out for each other, that is what makes it feel homey. Mrs Robin is amazing, always willing to jump in and help anyone. I have lived in meny rv parks over the years, and I can truly say, Pine Ridge has been my favorite. So if you wanting to do a little something while you here, check out the on site gym and fishing ponds. Or, you can visit Lake Charles I-10 beach, Rutherford beach 45min or Holly Beach 1 hour. Lots of places close to shop, dine, or try your luck in the casinos. Walmart is 2.4 miles down the road for all the little goodies you need to stock up on while you are here. Come on and stay a spell, you will not regret it one bit.
We have been here since September of 2019! We moved here for my work and couldn’t be more happy with this RV park!!! We have stayed at several over the years and the staff here is top notch. The site manager is great and is always willing to listen and address any issues that you may have. They have nice fishing ponds and an awesome sized dog park, which our two dogs love to run in every morning and evening!!! Also it’s centrally located to a lot of great restaurants and shopping. If your looking for an amazing place to stay for an extended period of time or even just a quick getaway this is the place to go!!!
We are traveling coast to coast and stopped for the night here. The park is quiet, has a stocked fishing hole and very clean facilities. The best part of Pine Ridge RV Resort is the site manager Robin. She is gracious and kind. We pulled in late and we did not have an amp converter. Robin not only drove into town to buy one, she gave it to us as a Father's Day gift. Robin is a gem.
The park is great!!! The owners are very sweet people. Park is very quiet and clean and a big bonus I can walk out my door and to the pond to fish or let kids swim , definitely recommend to anybody who is looking for getaway or someone looking long term or while here working like ourselves...
Pineridge is absolutely beautiful! We are so happy with our lake front view and the serene atmosphere the resort offers. The property is maintained to a high standard and is located central to restaurants and shopping. We look forward to the convenience the washateria and gym will provide and appreciate the positive staff interactions we have experienced so far!
We have been here for around 10 month now. Prices are very comparable in price as all rv parks in the Lake Charles area. This park has made a great place to call Home. It is in a great location on the outskirts of Lake Charles. It 4 miles Off of Interstate I-10 and 3.5 interstate 210 in Lake Charles . Its Only a few miles from several Restaurants, Walmart, Lowes and much more shopping. There is a Gas Station with a Subway and a Dunkin Donuts in it which is south less than a half mile down the road. They are also building a Meat Market/Seafood Restaurant by that gas station which will be really nice to have close by and should open in a month or soJune or july Park has wifi throughout, two stocked ponds Lighthouse Market-gas station 1/2 mile down sells fishing worms, fenced dog area, gym, coin washertia, coke vending, two showers rooms, rock roads with street lights that light up very well at night, and is under 24 hour surveillance. Park is next to a train track but not a bother at all. The Office Staff is very friendly. They address all concerns promptly and professional. Grass stays mowed regularly and water maintained. The park has plans for more amenities in future such as Pool, more picnic areas, propane filling station and even weekend events for guest from what we're told. Can't wait to see this place grow and get those extras as they do grow. Meanwhile we just enjoy the fishing!!!!!
This was a nice place. I'm so sorry this happened. Hurricane Laura was mean to everyone.
Best campground I’ve stayed at a nice place family and friends the fishing is good to there even nice enough to let you swim in the pond will be back again
