Pine Tree Garden Chinese Restaurant

Pretty tasty based on what’s available as for Chinese restaurants in the Mesquite / Balch Springs area. Service and cleanliness are everything and in my opinion, this place offers them amazingly. Seemed to be pretty busy during dinner time for take-out, although it does have a fairly decent size dining area too. Menu is typical of most similar type restaurants. I do recommend this place, if you are in the mood for some Chinese food.

We decided to try this place and it was a good choice. The food was fresh and hot. My only compliant would be that the Crab Rangoons, they had no cream meat in them at all. They are filled with cream cheese and absolutely no seasoning. But overall, a good price for the amount of food they provide.

Don't let the outside appearance fool you. The food here is most excellent. Most places only put maybe 5 to 8 pieces of shrimp in a dish, not these guys..they load you up!! Egg rolls are crispy, fresh and spot on..as is everything else my wife and I have had there..Food: 5/5

Pine tree garden is my FAVORITE Chinese place. Everyone is super friendly and has a family mentality. My family has literally eaten here since they opened in 93’. Ellen has watched my brother and I grow up & now also has watched as my own kids have been growing. There is nothing on the menu that is not short of amazing! If you haven’t gone you definitely need to. I have driven 2 hours for this Chinese food before and luckily I live close now. We will Always, Always, Always come back.

I had given up on finding genuine old school Chinese food from a Chinese restaurant. I am so excited to have found this wonderful gem in the most unlikely place at the corner of Elam Rd. and Shepherd Ln. in Balch Springs, Texas. It's not hard to spot as it resides in what, many moons ago, was a Dairy Queen. IMHO, this is a destination restaurant. The ambience and charm are evident through the slightly hazy front window. P.S. please never clean that window Most restaurants that have exceptional, made to order food have long since moved to a more financially beneficial area, NE of the I30/635 juncture. The smaller, independent restaurants left in this area from Buckner/175 down through Mesquite, Crandall and Terrell are either struggling to adjust to all the changes brought on by the arrival of and continued presence of the "Big P" and all unwelcomed idiosyncrasies or are gone entirely. With great sincerity I submit this glowing review of a restaurant that soothes my soul and, if just for a moment, reminds me of the quality of so many things lost with the changing of the centuries. Parking: Readily available. Drive thru is convenient and moving freely. Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp is present and easy to get access.

Some former co-workers and I visited Pine Tree Garden for lunch. I ordered dine in schezwan chicken stirfry vegetables and sweet tea for lunch. Everything was quickly prepared and perfectly cooked. I'll return whenever I'm in the area!

Best Chinese restaurant on GOD’s GREEN EARTH!!!!!!! You have to give this place a try!!!!! Omg my mouth is watering by just thinking about the food!!!! Omg and may I add best customer service ever!!!!! Also the have a wide verity of vegetarian meals.

I have always enjoyed my meals here abd the service is great. I used to love their egg rolls. They are not the same and I no longer like them. Where they were full of goodness, now they are small with mostly egg roll and not so much veggies.
