DONT GO HERE! Overpriced, caused damages to the interior of my car, and installed random things without consent. I purchased everything i brought before i went and it still costed over 800$ for a radio, door speakers, and sub woofers installation. Steering wheel controls dont work and they installed a whole new back up camera without consent, which i was also charged for. Not to mention my car already had one. I wouldn’t recommend anyone go here unless you want to overpay for mediocre work.

BIGGEST SCAM EVER!! Just moved to Maine, my brother was very excited and anxious to get subs in his car. Went her to get a quote for a single 12 a box and amp. Was quoted a little under 800 for everything. Comes time to pick up my brothers car I get there and mike greets me with a smile and tells me my total was OVER 1000!!! Only reason I didn’t say take it out is because I didn’t want my brother disappointed. I then go to get a price for 2 12’s already in the box I have the amp and wiring etc.. I just need it put in my car. Quoted me 427. I was not getting scammed again so we agree at 275 which was still a bit high in my book. We set a day and time. I get a call and mike says his technician got in a car crash. I felt bad so I said don’t worry about it I’m patient. We pick a new day and time. This day comes and he calls me yet again and says his technicians mom had a stroke. Again I’m patient so he said “i don’t know when I can get it in, I feel really bad so your at the top of my list” I said sounds great. 4 weeks go by no call. He has since dodged all my efforts to contact him. Very UNPROFESSIONAL place.

*THIS PLACE IS A SCAM DO NOT GO HERE* My girlfriend and I went to have her radio fixed. He told us he would take a look at it and disappeared for two hours without any communication. After the wait he came back in and told us he had already taken apart the dash and taken out the radio. After we chose to not severely overpay for repairing the radio, so he charged us $120 after saying it would be 110 for literally nothing and just re-installed the broken radio into the dash. We wasted over 3.5 hours, lost 120$ and got nothing fixed.

I’ve been a customer since 2005; Mike and company have worked on cars for me as well as a few home AV installations. The work was always done to a high standard and alterations to walls/woodwork were unnoticeable once complete. It’s worth noting that, in addition to possessing a deep knowledge of acoustics and sound design, Mike is a skilled wood worker. I actually commissioned some hardwood shelving for my home, which came out beautifully and matched the surrounding woodwork exactly. Prices are competitive, labor is reasonable — especially when you factor in the range of things they can do. Pine Tree Mobile Sounds guarantees the labor on installations; if a problem arises, they will diagnose and often fix it at no charge. I still have the original vehicle with the sound system they built 14 years ago — only one part ever had an issue — the head unit display died after 2 years, under warranty. The unit was out of production and the product range had changed somewhat. Mike and his staff went above and beyond; the replacement was actually slightly better than the original. That deck is still going strong nearly 12 years later. Highly recommend this company as one of many longtime return customers.

I had my automatic car starter installed in here years ago which cost I'd say fair market value at that time $500 or more and I didn't mind that but I went back recently and gave a hypothetical job and he quoted me and this was just pulled out of the air $1,000 and they have as soon as you bring your car in just for them to look at it I mean it's $85 per hour so I would try to which I did find other avenues to have the things I needed done and found them very good place very good place up in Sanford very fair with his prices and his attitude and his enthusiasm about cars and his knowledge if you want that let me know I'll give it to you

I would not recommend this business. I had a radio I needed partially installed. Meaning I had already run all the wiring required and because my SUV had some funky wiring from the prior owners plus Onstar ans steering wheel controls, I decided to have all the connections done professionally. I had already bought the radio which came with the mounting kit and the 2 required harnesses to do the job. I advised Mike of this and he quoted me $90-$140 to do the job and about hour and a half..I thought it sounded fair and agreed and made an appointment. Well 5 hours later, the only thing that got done was blow out my reverse lights, only wired the speakers, did not install the steering wheel controls and added an installation kit without my approval and charged me the full $140. So I asked if I could come back for them to finish the job and install the steering wheel controls we had original agreed to...the answer, no. "We are only charging you for two hours so that will be extra." Walked out of there $175 later and still don't have a fully functional radio. Maybe I should send them an invoice for fixing my reverse lights. Easily one of the worst businesses I have dealt with.

Wish I had read these reviews before I did business with them. When your gut tells you that this does not feel right, listen to your gut. Everyone is right, this is a scam joint. I went there to have a new system installed in my jeep. Made it very clear I did not want to spend over a specified amount. I ended up paying over $ 400.00 more than the price we had agreed on. Once they had the system installed, they told me my original cameras would not work on this system. Now, for someone who installs these system every day of the week and for years, they should have a good idea up front as to whether the existing cameras may not work and should inform the customer prior to starting work. Also, they take a large deposit and then have policies to not refund any deposit if you change your mind. These people suck in my opinion and you should avoid them at all costs, no pun intended! if I have problems with this system and they refuse to make it right, I will likely end up in jail. He screwed the wrong person this time! if I could give them a minus stars, I would. BEWARE!!

I originally called to ask about what they offered from my veichle. he asked be to bring it in to look at. When I got there he looked everything up on his computer and never went to my truck. This company is very unorganized. charded double for the installation from what the sign on the dest said. when I asked about it he said thats just a starting point. the Father sits in the back office and chain smokes. worst part to me was the family dog was inhaling it all. when I got my truck smelled like an astray. NOT A FAN
