Came to visit some friends. Beautiful campsites. Lots of space. Great at yelling at speeders. If you drive to fast. Great big lots. People are friendly. Staff was nice. Didn't see much of the pool but all the kids activities were plenty to keep their attention. Korn hole Playground: So much play space for you and your kids. Dog-friendliness: Lots of dogs. Dogs are ok here.
Great place great people my only complaint is the pond for for the fish is really gross I didnt want to let the kids on the paddle boats
Second time here and the lots to do, different days they have little things happening for the kids to do!
We were long time campers at PVP for 22 years until 2014 when we decided we were going to take a break from camping . This summer we bought a pop up tent trailer and have been enjoying it a lot . Last weekend we went back to PVP as we have friends that still camp there and are in the baseball league. It was their championship game and awards banquet . The games were well played and a lot of fun to watch . After there was a cornhole tournament for anyone who wants to play which was amazing to see so many people having such a good time. That was followed with a BBQ of pulled pork coleslaw and beans and fresh corn all provided by the park . To end the night we had live music to entertain us. The following day was the awards banquet for the baseball league and a BBQ of Hamburger or Hot Dog for $3.00 !!! Where can anyone eat for 3 bucks !. The park has changed a lot over the years but I can honestly say it just keeps getting better ! So many cool things have been added for kids like the bouncy pad the paddle boats the race cars and the petting zoo. There is a large pool and a pond to fish in and lots of room to run . For the adults there are organized Euchre nights and Bingo and let's not forget the food truck ! They have different ones throughout the summer . Check it out you won't be disappointed and if something does go wrong They will fix it if it can be fixed .
Started camping here last year and I have nothing bad to say at all. Perfect spot for kids with lots of fun activities including my favorite the petting zoo. The staff have been helpfull and pleasant and I find rates and fees to be very fair. I am glad I made this park my seasonal spot and I look forward to many years of camping as this is now my home away from home! And thank you to all the staff that put on all the fun events! Cheers! Great Fun!!! People around are very friendly and willing to help each other in any way possible. Nice looking Fountain in the middle of Pond Area that Glows in the Evening. On site little store that kids just love visiting. Lots of children around and extremely friendly. Camp fires in the evening everywhere, as you walk around saying Hi to those around. Everyone respects the time in the evening by putting out their Fires and lowering their voices. Everyone Extremely Helpful and Respectful!
Amazing family campground full of activities and events every weekend! Very well maintained and clean washrooms and showers. Laundry on site. Food trucks. So much more
We stayed here for 5 nights with our motorhome. Our 4yo daughter had a great time and loved the animals in the petting zoo, the jumping pillow and the playgrounds. It is a nice park with a lot of seasonal visitors. We had the bad luck of a lot of mosquitos at dusk and dawn, the first night you couldn't even go to the washroom without being 'attacked' by 10-20 of them. There was also an overnight washroom, but this wasn't more than a shed with a toilet. The RV sites were levelled and well maintained, although there was some rubbish lying around here and there. The owners were really friendly and helped us out when we weren't able to boil water. There were a couple of things that need attention: the washrooms and laundry just 1 washer and 1 dryer are outdated. The playgrounds are fun for the kids, but need updating or repairs. Especially the toddlers playground, because the soil is just rock or hard sand. Nothing to break a childs fall. Just to be aware: there is only grey water sewer, which wasn't a great issue for us. The garbage collection bins were filled over the max, which didn’t look nice and attracts pests and looks very weird, having camped in BC were they are very strict in garbage collection. One last thing that needs updating on the website: please mention the pool opens Mid-June, as it says just June in the faqs. This influenced our decision for this campground, as we hoped to take a dip in the pool during 30 degrees Celcius weather. We enjoyed our time at the campsite and our 4yo had fun, but we probably won't return here.
Horrible experience. During our 2 days stay we were threatened by a few others at the park. Staff didn’t seem to care at all. Best bet is to shell out the money and go someplace better
Nice park with lots of activities for the kids! We were just day visitors however the campers all seemed to be happy with the place! The petting zoo is a nice touch!
