Pinewood Elementary School

I love this school I havent been there since i started pre K but back then it looked way better i was there for 2006-2008 for pre school. I love the location for the school and the staff was nice. One of my church members is a lunch lady there.The playground and the building was cool. It is nice. Nowadays when i see it its a little run down because the sign for the school was missing and ripped but when i was attended there it was sparkling clean

My son is kindergarten at Pinewood and so far the experience with this school has just been okay. I personally just don't feel the enthusiasm from the school staff. I must say my son's teacher is a great teacher and I believe she enjoys being a kindergarten teacher. I believe the biggest barrier for this school is their procedures in communication. You can't email the teachers, breakfast starts at 7:15am but sometimes there is no one there at the door even after calling the school and walking in my son all the way into the cafeteria, conferences often do not accommodate parents schedules, there is no before care and now the school is listed as a 'D' school dropping from a 'C'. I see and know the difference especially since my niece goes to North Broward Academy of Excellence across the street. I see her homework versus my son's and I have dropped her to school numerous times so I have seen staff outside make sure the process is always going smoothly, also to mention they are a 'B' school dropping from an 'A'. Pinewood is not bad but just in my opinion in need for improvement.

love the teacher's miss.seleznow,miss.mcfarland and miss.martin. they are wonderful and I love the fact the the principal and vice principal recognizes the bright students. and move them up to a more challenging class..

Loved the school teachers were amazing to me they taught me well and even understand me on everything i needed help with. if i could rate it out of ten i would give it a 100

it a good school but it became a good school when i was in 4 th grade and i am a 6 th grade now and it the best school so far it a A+ school so it by far a great school

Pinewood is wonderful one specific teacher makes it horrible she treats kids with no respect and is very disrespectful .PERIOD

My 3 kids went there, love it. Friendly staff, great curriculum, caring teachers, they keep the kids busy.

This is an A Elementary School. Teachers, staffs and students are very well behaved comparatively to their neighbors.

They were putting my daughter on A bus with another kids name after we told the teacher she does not take a bus
