I worked with Sunflower Bank as CEO of Austin Habitat for Humanity. Wonderful community bank with exceptional products and great customer service. On top of that/ this is an organization truly committed to supporting their local community. Highly recommend them!
I live on 37th Street and Pioneer Bank always let us use their parking garage for people coming to visit 37th street lights. They even offered to decorate their garage to contribute to this decades old tradition-one of the oldest in Austin that still happens. Now that sunflower bank has taken over, no one can use their garage, even considering they’re closed when the lights are on, leaving hundreds of cars to crowd neighborhood streets because of the grinch like selfishness of Sunflower bank. What a colossal waste of space that they could make useful for family’s to use after the business is closed, but they choose not to, so it can remain an empty eyesore brushing our community. If this small conversation is any hint to how they run their banking, my neighbors are taking our business elsewhere. Bad neighbors, inconsiderate, do not recommend.
I have an awful time trying to connect with a person in this bank. I live in north Texas and there is only one branch here, in Richardson, which is over 50 miles from my residence. I took me over an hour to speak to someone to simply find the address in Austin, which was not the address I needed to make my monthly payment. Although I have been a customer for many years, they are not willing to negotiate my interest rate or make any changes to my favor. I will not do business with this bank for future purchases.
Worst banking experience I have ever had. If you have money here, get it out. But, allocate hours and hours to do so. Four trips to bank, with all paperwork provided, and still don't have checks cut to close two accounts.
Very frustrated with this banks inability to offer any method of payment for my loan other than mail in a check. I have not been to the post office since I can remember and do not plan on going any time soon. Oh sure, they will let you pay by phone check for a $15 fee. This is 2021. Please make an effort to come into the present and offer online payment of a loan. Or maybe I could just fax it to you. Hit me on my beeper when my payment is due!!!! Ridiculous.
I was hired to do a photo/video shoot by one of the contractors who built this building, but ended up being treated very poorly by the people at Pioneer Bank. I was just hired to do a job. Treating people with such disrespect is not acceptable. I won't ever do business with Pioneer Bank!
a happy place where you can still get a free checking account and bankers who want to help.seen it from Starbucks on 38th & Guadalupe. I need debit cards to get a discount on domain names for $2.99
Elizabeth Nguyen who calls her self the Assistant Manager is no help at all. Rodney the Manager is just as useless.
Very helpful and welcoming staff, especially considering they were dealing with someone who was just opening a new account and didn't know where to begin!
