Update: they finally cleaned up the graffiti!! It’s been looking much better lately They really could do a much better job of handling the graffiti on the play equipment. The profanity specifically is a lot. Right across the street from the Pioneer school, but there is often people at the park these days that make one a bit more nervous about having your kids there. Haven’t encountered any issues though. People so far have pretty much just kept to themselves. The homeless population is pretty extreme in the local area, so you do get them there. But again, as long as they’re left alone it doesn’t seem to be an issue.
This park is a great park for any occasion. A nice walk, sit and relax, kids can safely play, baseball field, and even birthday parties! There is plenty of room for bounce house if that's in your event. There aren't any restrooms on site, but there is usually a porter potty there that's for use. It's clean and well mantinanced. The parks playground is also clean well mantinanced, and the entity has a ton of shade. It's also in the middle of a nice and friendly neighborhood.
This park has a lot of free space, large trees, shade over the benches, water, a barbecue, a children's playground with all the facilities. You can run on the sidewalk under circle around the park. There is a school nearby, so many schoolchildren wait for their parents here after classes, however, it is better for children without their parents not to be here. Parents and visitors of children should come before the end of their studies and take a good look after the children. That's how I came. There is no running track in the middle of the park. 7 meters in a circle, is still a sidewalk around the children's playgrounds. When I picked up the children from school, I was with them in this park for a long time, but then - a strange woman began to spy on us and catch the my smallest boy I was playing with, in order to grab him on the run. I after like that, I started walking with the children in the school's spacious stadium. There are as many as two children's floats, for younger and older children. I really liked this school near the park. The children there study well, they are kind, and the teachers are also very good. Only, strange people came to the park and tried to steal children. There was an alarm at the school, and I was told to pick up the children in the middle of classes. A police helicopter flew over the school. There were police cars. They were looking for a criminal who hid in the school. Maybe the woman who tried to steal a my child? But I never found out who the criminal was - it was dangerous to be there. We were all sent running home. It was a long time ago. Then she moved to another district. In my opinion, policemen or special defenders should be present in educational institutions, during the training period, as children are not protected in them, the premises are huge, everyone works, studies, criminals will feel free during training. This is a big drawback of society, - not have the protection of children in the learning homes and on and near the parks.
Nice little park with a decent sized perimeter for laps of walking or jogging. Perimeter of park is about .35 miles. They also feature a small playground area.
Really nice park. Alot to do and creative. Has space ships and space craft. Swings and just like a great park, it has a bathroom. A bit but it has one. It has a nice field to play sports, and its a flat field instead of hills on hills. So any sport will go great in there. Parking on the side all around the park which is nice. A but if trees, not too much.
Cute playground. Tall structures are more fitting for older kids but littles can have fun too. They have baby swings as well. They have a nice field between the playground and baseball fields.
The park is nice and all but there's a lot of mean kids that are always at this park. Every single time we've went there. They try to be mean and don't play with my son because he isn't Russian like them. I wouldn't recommend this park unless you're Russian. They are just so rude it's crazy!
It is one of the better neighborhood parks physically/structurally, and is almost exclusively attended by nearby residents. It usually has kids, and isnt ever that crowded. And I live down the street so I'm super biased lol
Too much trash and empty dirty bottles on the playground but overall it's okay. My baby loves this park
This park isn't too bad. It's close to the house and allows me a circle to use for jogging/walking. Before heading out, just keep in mind that most people do not stop at stop signs on any corner. There is almost always someone smoking dope in the park. There tends to be pockets of trash left from peoples cars. On the bright side, the park is good sized for being inside a neighborhood. There are a couple sports fields, open grass and kids play areas. People bring their kids, dogs and just pick-nick under the trees.
